"We were given a room with a view of the parking lot and a busy road. A room that should only be assigned in an extreme emergency or used for groups or teams that are young and don’t know better. Also, at a significantly reduced rate. We were so tired from traveling and felt like we had to beg for another room. We did get another room but a big dog barked a lot in the room next door. The room was pretty in the garden area and the dog people checked out on the second day. This was not our first stay and it was great on our last trip. On the plus side, the room was clean and the beds and pillows were comfortable. There are a lot of restaurants nearby. It is in a convenient location. We visit Eugene for a few days at least once per year, we will try another hotel on the next visit. We spent a lot expecting a lot and were disappointed overall."

"Room was nice and clean inside. I liked the large screen TV, and the bed was comfy. Only deducted a star because part of the reason I booked the creek side room was to sit on the balcony and enjoy the “View”. However, the balcony was not maintained - dirty, spider webs everywhere and the creek actually looked like stagnant water that was murky. The trees were nice and a family of ducks hanging out did get my attention. Also, there was a funny smell in the building hallways. Breakfast was a good spread, but the two times I went it was busy and some of the items were empty needing refilled."
