Great property and very clean. Only downfall is the bed was like a rock. For those who like soft beds, this is not the best.

We are saddened to hear that you did not find our beds soft enough. Our beds are brand new and of medium firmness. Unfortunately, we cannot please everyone with the firmness/softness; we can only offer the bed. We are otherwise very happy that you enjoyed your stay, and your free upgrade.

I’ve stayed at this hotel many times over the last few years. They have always been very solid, but they have really stepped up their game now. Best visit by far. Highly recommend.

My stay in Harlingen
I've been stsying at this hotel when I'm in town for the past couple of years. I absolutely enjoyveverything about the hotel. The employees are amazing! My favorite friend is Caleb, he's an absolute gem. Keep up the great custoner service!

It gets a bit loud in the bedroom being near the highway. I wish the happy hour was better advertised and you knew what your options were ahead of time. Breakfast was pretty okay. The whole facility could use an update, especially the lock system on the doors. The shower I was afraid might come out of the wall when I turned the stopper on. TVs are small but adequate. Refrigerator and microwave were nice and clean and an excellent countertop to use. Mattresses were a bit uncomfortable. I think a good update for a more modern country lodge would do it some real good!

We apologize for the inconveniences you experienced. We currently have the doors, as well as the new locks to be installed. We are anticipating replacing them very soon, and are actually at the moment refreshing our rooms, for an updated look. We plan on advertising our free happy hour, that comes with 2 free beers or glasses of wine, and a light appetizer/meal a little more strongly. We thank you for your stay and for your valuable input, so that we may improve, as we strive for an excellent experience for all our guests.

Excellent hotel
We always enjoy our stay at Country Inn & Suites. The rooms are always clean, quiet, and comfortable. The breakfast is outstanding and has a large selection. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Always a good stay
We usually have a great experience, but this time the room needed a little TLC. There was a weird smell in the room coming from the bathroom the entire time, we weren't sure if it was due to the cleaning products being used or something else. We kept the bathroom door closed for the most part. Other than that, customer service was great as always and the breakfast was good. This location is always all first choice when travelling to the Valley.

Friendly service, great happy hour Mon-Fri, but rooms could use some updating and maintenance work (painting trim, patching holes in sheetrock, adjusting doors that won't stay open).

LOVE this hotel
I LOVE this hotel! It’s like a mini apartment! The rooms are spacious, clean with working ac units, 2 TV’s and 2 separate spaces. The show head is waterfall style and they actually allow the water to get hot unlike some hotels now. The staff has been friendly each time I’ve stayed and fresh cookies are waiting when you come in. I wish they had this hotel in bigger cities that I have to travel to.
