"Conveniently located, renovated old british era cottage. Loft room was ok but noisy, bery little sound proofing between lower level and upper. Plumbing was not the best as could hear a very noisy pump running throughout, pipe hammer was loud. No choice of food was available for dinner, did not try breakfast. Short stroll into town, across muddy track and diesel spills at the corner gas station. ymmv depending on what? Islamisized facility."

Perched among misty tea plantations, Haputale offers spectacular sunrise views from Lipton's Seat and hiking trails through Adisham Monastery's gardens. Trek to nearby Horton Plains National Park for the dramatic World's End cliff viewpoint or catch a train along the scenic mountain railway for unforgettable highland vistas.
Absolutely stunning property and surroundings! House and rooms are nice and clean but public spaces felt small for the 7 rooms (14 people). It is nice if you are happy to socialize and share space.
Staff was amazing and accommodating - food was good, not amazing - a little hit or miss. We didn’t have the full board / all inclusive like others and I felt like the prices were high for Sri Lanka. Menu was more accommodating to the full board. This is a remote location so plan to be spending most...

Amazing property. Beautiful location. Well maintained and situated perfectly to take advantage of the natural surroundings. Rooms clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked including umbrellas mounted outside the door.

Incredible views from our room at Tunnel Top, overlooking the beautiful valley and the iconic train tracks! The room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. We also loved that drinks were available for free throughout our stay.
The staff were outstanding — super friendly and genuinely accommodating. They made us drinks, helped carry our luggage up the stairs, and even arranged tuk tuk transportation into Ella for us. Their warm hospitality made our stay even better.

This is a beautiful guest house away from the town center, about 5-10 minutes by car. Trigan and the staff were always very helpful. Breakfast was good. It can get cold in this area, so be prepared with jackets just in case

This is the place to stay if you come to Ella. It could not have been more perfect. You wake up to stunning views of the mountains and the most delicious homemade traditional breakfast. You can walk straight from the home to town or to hikes and popular sights.
It keeps you out of the hustle and bustle of the street so you can really enjoy your stay.
11/10, loved my stay here. If I come back to Ella, I would love to stay again!

Great guesthouse with a wonderful host. We stayed 2 nights. Room was simple but had all you needed. The breakfast made by Cynthia both mornings was the highlight of our stay. Easy walk into town. Thank you for your hospitality.

We stayed at this amazing property for 3 days as a group of four and had a wonderful experience. The mountain views from our room were stunning, and the staff were warm, welcoming, and helpful. The breakfast buffet had limited spread, but everything was delicious. The approach road can be a bit tricky, with a steep, narrow downhill stretch that accommodates only one car at a time. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property!

We didn't expect much given we were a last minute booking but the service was just over and above anything we could have expected.

The room was excellent. Had everything I needed. Only thing I would add is an additional plug socket to the room. Melani was phenomenal from the start and throughout, she went above and beyond making sure I had everything I needed. Breakfast was made fresh every morning and Melani checked what I wanted and even accommodated things like getting low fat options, which she didn’t need to do. The star of this hotel besides the staff is the view from the balcony! Looking out onto Ella was lovely,...

Fantastic quiet spot to enjoy Koslanda area. Highly recommended if you're looking to unwind and enjoy the grounds. Staff, service, food, room, pool all great, only downside is drive time to wider activities (Ella/Lipton's Seat) make for long day trips.

Few things were super impressive as follows:
1) All the staffs were so helpful, welcoming and always there for us when we needed.
2) If you prefer something that gives you a traditional vibes apart from a concrete high rise building this place is highly recommended.
3) The entire place was neat and clean along with worthy prices.
Besides these nothing was found by me which is problematic or annoying.
Long story short,I liked staying there.
