We stayed at the Peridot twice during our time in Vietnam. For both stays the hotel was great. Lovely friendly staff, very clean, nice facilities and a big comfortable bed. The breakfast was excellent too. The location is ideal, close to lots of eating options. We walked to most of the sites from the hotel with ease. Cabs are plentiful and a good price if you don’t want to walk. The Grab app works really well in Hanoi. We also used the hotels airport transfer service (4 times), which was obviously more expensive than a cab, but still priced very reasonably and an excellent service. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Peridot for anyone staying in Hanoi.

Absolutely loved my experience at this hotel! We had a corner room that didn't have a city view, but was very clean and had a spacious bathroom. Service was amazing and the property manager even checked in with us as we checked out, and I felt that they really cared about our experience. Breakfast buffet was beautiful, delicious and had a lot of variety.

Fantastic hotel with great service. Despite missing our connecting flight, the car organised by the hotel was waiting for us. Staff were attentive and the rooms were clean. The breakfast buffet was superb. We visited the spa and the Sky Bar and enjoyed both, with the staff continuing to provide a terrific experience. The hotel’s location in the Old Quarter makes every voyage outside the front doors and adventure. Would definitely stay here again.

This is by far one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. We traveled from the United States and this hotel was exceptional!!! The service was second to none and the staff made every reservation and out ring simple and easy.

I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The staff are excellent - friendly and extremely helpful. Great breakfasts and other dining options. The rooms are extremely comfortable and the hotel is ideally situated to explore the old quarter or to go to other parts of the city.

Hotel decor has alot of character. Quaint and exclusive at the same time cosy and homely and romantic Note that some rooms do not have a view (looking into an internal waterfall) so in the day the room may be a bit dark for some - don't think this was highlighted in my booking with Expedia. Very nice rooftop bar Helpful staff. Will recommend to travellers - solo, couples and families with quiet kids.

The hotel is beautiful and has a luxurious feel and the staff is impeccable! The beds are amazing. It feels like sleeping on a cloud. I can’t wait to visit Hanoi again and can’t imagine staying anywhere else.

Hanoi was my favorite city. The beauty, staff, and convenience of this hotel made it even better! Every single staff member was helpful from those who carried our bags, checked us in, checked us out, directed us on the right path as we exited the property to various sites and markets, and arranged for our transportation. The rooms were heavenly. Incredible bath, shower, and tub. The breakfast and coffee were incredible. They even made a special birthday cake for me which was just so sweet! We were able to walk to every site and restaurant in Hanoi from this location and even make pit stops back at the hotel to drop our purchases, rehydrate, and use the bathroom. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone and everyone. It was cold in Hanoi during our stay but the hotel was a nice cozy place to come home to each night.

The team at Peridot was incredible. I had multiple flight delays into Hanoi and an early flight out and transportation arranged by the hotel was flawless they provided an awesome breakfast box for my early morning. I didn’t have a ton of time to explore the Old Quarter but the hotel was clean, safe and the customer service was exceptional.

Mixed feelings about this property. We had a Junior Suite but it felt very small and pokey - too much furniture and an impractical bathroom design. The towels smelled like cooking oil, the curtains were musty and the toiletries bottles were tiny and we ran out of soap after one person’s shower. Room aside, the staff are attentive and lovely plus the breakfast was fantastic. Not sure I’d be back though.

We had a fantastic stay, this was the first hotel on our honeymoon and it was brilliant. The room was a little noisy, so sleep quality was reduced - however we also had jet lag so this is partly to blame! The team were so fantastic and nothing was too much trouble during our stay! Thank you.

Perfect pick in Hanoi
Lovely boutique hotel with quality furniture throughout plus beds like cloud and marble bathrooms, lovely scented hallways. Our room on the 8th floor was also virtually soundproofed, very important in Hanoi. The service was great and they let us check out an hour later, even though the hotel is fully booked - would recommend.
