First of all the communication was excellent, they sent me a what's app 1 day before arrival to make sure what time we will be there. All the staff was really friendly and helpful! Food was delicious, rooms clean and comfy and the whole hotel is beautifully decorated. Location is the best as well, close to everything but still quite at night. I can't find anything bad to say about this hotel, I would definitely recommend it to anyone!

The location is good, but the hotel itself needs some renovation, it feels more like a 2,5 -3 star. The breakfast room is very small and echoey. But the staff is nice and helpful. Be aware that the church bells starts around 5am, which can be good if you need to get up for an early trip.

I had a wonderful time staying at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well organized. The staff were kind and attentive throughout my stay. Breakfast is good, plenty of fresh fruit, freshly cooked eggs to order. The reception staff are incredibly helpful, Da in particular who goes out of his way to help and advise. Only downside is the early morning noise from the bells of the cathedral if you’re in an upper floor room at the back of the hotel.

Somehow this hotel was rated 4 stars. It is a 2 star hotel. Very small room, view to a concrete wall about 50 cm away, window doesn’t open. Tired decor. Disappointing breakfast, small crowded basement dining room also catering to outside guests, some mornings no seats available. We walked away from our 2 week booking after 5 nights. Some compensation was requested but not offered. Staff were friendly and helpful. Cleanliness and air conditioning were adequate.

Staff were extremely friendly, EXTREMELY friendly. They were a joy to see every time we entered or left the hotel. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We were there a day and then went on an over night trip to Ha long bay, and then back to the hotel, and they collected our luggage from our room and had them waiting in the new room when we returned. Rooms were clean, with all you could need, good air con, and safe. Location perfect with a 3 minute walk into the centre of the old town. They also organised a transfer to the airport for less than Grab. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed at Royal Premium for a second night following a cruise in Halong Bay. Once again the staff was amazing and so helpful. They really want to make sure you have the best of time in Hanoi and in Vietnam in general. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a room with city view. Breakfast is included - which is not something we usually care for but again, choice of food is outstanding, fresh and quite good. Service at the restaurant is also very attentive - thanks DA, Senila and all the Royal Premium staff for a wonderful stay.

The hotel is in a good location, close to St. Joseph Cathedral. There are many great places to eat within a very short walk from the hotel, Michelin rated even! Da at the front desk was very helpful when I checked in. He gave me a map of the area showing where some major attraction were located, and he booked an excursion for me. I was happy the hotel had an elevator as I tired myself out daily from exploring the old quarter of Hanoi. I was quite pleased with the Hanoi Royal Premium Hotel.

Fantastic staff, always kind and helpful!! Great atmosphere thanks to them Enjoyed my stay. Right in the center of Old Town. Facilities are basic, but comfortable. They arranged cheap laundry for me. The best part was the staff- so kind and welcoming. Would recommend for a simple budget stay in a great location.

It is very well located, beautifully decorated, very thoughtful and kind staff and they made so many thoughtful touches to make our stay so special. It was our daughter’s birthday and they surprised us by decorating the room, a cake, gifts, just so so lovely. It is an exceptional place to stay and we will return many times in the future
