A super clean, bright and spacious apartment with a lovely private courtyard/patio. Quiet, serene surroundings. We always appreciate a place that is easy to settle into, with everything needed for a perfect stay. Great beds, a great shower and coffee. This was a very nice place. It was very large and very comfortable. Highwood recommend it to anyone going to hamner springs. Might have been my favorite hotel on the trip.

Amy was an excellent host..she offered to wash and dry our clothes while we spent the afternoon at hanmer springs. The lodge was spacious, clean and quiet. Very comfortable beds and clean facilities.

The apartments are pleasant with the quiet neighborhood and their gardens in the back were so nice to sit and relax. It's only a 3 min drive into town. The owners walked us through and gave us a tour. We had our children with us on our trip and the owners reached out in advance and asked if the kids would like to share a queen bed or if they would prefer their own single bed each. Wonderful stay!

I booked an apartment because we could share an apartment with my elderly father, who we came over to NZ to visit and take away for a short-break. Prior to arrival I was contacted by the owners to determine what bedding configuration we required which was very helpful. The apartments were easy to locate on the edge of the Hamner Village, in a quite area with good off-street parking. We were warmly welcomed by the owners, and shown to our apartment. We were all very impressed by the condition of the compartment (spacious, well-laid out and spotlessly clean). The 'extra touches' such as providing beach towels in the event we wished to go to the local Hot Springs was very welcomed, as was the recommendations on where to eat. Whilst the apartments are on the edge of the village, we had our own car so that wasn't an issue as there is ample free parking in the village. We definitely plan to stay at this facility again next time we visit Hamner and have already recommended this place to friends and family in NZ.
