"Excellent "get away from it all" vibe on this little mountain resort. The drive and area is wooded and beautiful. The staff is AMAZING! Helpful, friendly, warm and welcoming. The rooms were cute and clean. Maybe a little dated and worn, but for the price they are perfect!! The pool was a bit small, but not crowded and deep. "We stayed at this property about 5 years ago and we had a great stay however this time the experience was terrible. The hotel has gone down hill and seemed old, tired and worn. We had to change rooms because it looked as though someone kicked in the bathroom door breaking the door and lock. The next room wasn’t much better. The bathroom faucet was so loose that we dad to hold it down when turning it on. The was a foul odor on the second floor and the carpet in the hallway was worn and...

"The kitchen was excellently equipped, I had everything I needed. The door to my room was very difficult to open as it was humid and had expanded. I had to do a football tackle to open it from the outside. Everything in the room felt tacky and damp. I had plenty of towels, and the water pressure in the shower was good. Over all everything was ok, but I probably won't stay here again."

"The room, and everything in it, was clean, functional and well maintained. The two nights stay was very good. The building, and specifically the door and its handle-lock system can use some facelift. Still, this did not affect our satisfaction from the stay. However, we did not get the courtesy expected during check-in at a lodging place. The person at the counter didn't seem to care much if we are there or not. We were left with some bitter taste."
