We had a good sized room on the ground floor in the back which was cool, quiet, and quite pleasant. The bathroom and shower were very nice. The breakfast was good. The location is very good - close to paddington station, Hyde Park, and many restaurants.

We had a nice stay at The Franklin. Our only real complaint was that the room, a Garden Suite, looked nothing like what is advertised either on Expedia or the hotel's website. The room was nice, it just didn't look anything like what were expecting. The overall service at the hotel was excellent.

Disappointing overall and not worth the money. We were in room 208 which had outdated furniture, marks on the wall, stain on the carpet and a view out onto nothing other than a brick wall and pigeons. Breakfast was ok for £20 each but we still had to make our own toast at the buffet … how hard is it for toast to be served alongside the tea and coffee?
Staff were helpful and public areas very tastefully furnished. Great location but still a disappointing experience.

The room was very clean and much nicer than I expected considering there are no windows.
There was an large room were you could buy drinks from a fridge or help yourself to Tea and coffee.
Staff were very helpful and friendly.
