Clean rooms, great staff, Omar is an asset, was very helpful and helped us get some great deals. Beautiful location on the beach and lovely hotel. Food was abit repetitve but think Im just not a fan of Tunisian cuisine. Not much for the kids apart from pizza... but my kids are fussy. Otherwise great stay and amazing staff.

This is our 3rd time visiting Bel Azur and we had a wonderful time. We were there 2 weeks. We had a basic double room this time. There were a couple maintenance issues with our room (light bulb changes and shower head change) but the hotel took care of them right away. It was a spacious room with a large balcony. Nothing fancy but very clean. Housekeeping was fantastic. Entertainment crew was great- lots of activities and shows. Food was delicious, with lots of choices, every night. Staff was friendly and helpful. We like to tip often and they were very appreciative. Overall, we had a great time.

C'est un super hôtel avec un accès à la mer incroyable. J'ai adoré. Les chambre sont biens, et assez grandes, les lits très confortables. Le site est magnifique. La nourriture excellente, le buffet est très varié et on trouve plusieurs spécialités tunisiennes et internationale. Le seul bémol, voyageant seule avec mes enfants, étant l'adulte responsable j'ai vécu plusieurs situations où le personnel masculin âgé a été bête, irrespectueux et impoli avec moi. J'ai vu plusieurs de ses situations envers les femmes sur le site. Cet aspect est à améliorer grandement avec la clientèle internationale.

We checked into our room and phone did not work and sink and bathtub did not drain. Water was leaking from the toilet button. We changed rooms and we still had a phone that did not work. Therefore, every time we needed anything we had to go to the front desk. Then there was ants in the bathroom. Also, they forgot to place towels in our room. The breakfast was so disappointing. My son saw mold in his bread. The Buffett was not in good standards.

The building of the hotel nice with big entrance area. Only 1 receptionist available but check in went okay. The staff that helped us to the room wasn't that friendly, as soon as I said I want to carry my own luggage he just walked ahead of us and barely waited (we arrived at night and it was very rainy so it wasn't easy to follow him) they didn't tell us where the room was, so we had to wait for the staff to be free to take us. We arrived at the room, state of the bungalow was okay, clean but still a bit old style and old furniture. There was not internet in our room (they said it was due to the rain...) and the TV in our room had no channels, and it only turns on, nothing to see. The half board option was good, for dinner and breakfast there is a wide variety of foods, meats, fish, rice, couscous, pasta etc as well as some stations where they cook in front of you. Unfortunately due to rainy weather we didn't use the outside pools, but the indoor one was warmed up and sort of full(as only swimming option) it wasn't a bug pool but was alright. They don't give you towels for the pool and it says you're not allowed to use the room towels there... Before leaving we managed to check out the beach area, with a bit of sun and it was nice (empty...) and seemed clean and nicely sized. Maybe in better weather the experience is different but for us it was just okay especially for the price.

I had a pleasant two-night stay at the Bel Azur Thalassa hotel. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive to guests’ needs, making the experience even more enjoyable. The gardens, pools, and beach area are beautifully maintained, providing a relaxing and well-kept environment. The spa center is also very well equipped and offers a stunning view of the sea, adding a touch of serenity to the wellness experience. The cuisine is a real highlight: meals are varied, delicious, and well-presented. Each dish reflects a commitment to local flavors and impeccable quality, making dining a truly enjoyable experience. The only slight downside was the condition of the room, which could benefit from a bit more maintenance and equipment. That said, the beautiful view of the garden and beach from the room is definitely a plus. In summary, a relaxing and delightful stay in an enchanting setting with a staff that goes above and beyond.

This is the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed at. The room wasn't cleaned properly when we got it, the floor was dirty, the bathroom had a nasty sewage smell and the air conditioning didn't work very well. We reported this and they said we would get a new room, but we never did despite asking several times over 3 days. The cleaning ladies just came and sprayed the room to fix the bad smell in our absence.. They struggled to give us clean towels. Finally we just gave up and checked out of this nasty hotel. Save your money and stay away from this hotel. This hotel ruined several days of our holiday in Tunisia.
