"The hotel had a 9/10 Expedia rating which really surprised me. When we arrived we all noticed the smell was not pleasant. It smells like a room spray trying to cover up smoke or some other type of odor. We stayed on the first floor and windows were really dirty and dead bugs in curtains. "While the property is older and a little tired (for example the chairs in the room were quite worn - sink had cracks) it was extremely clean. The room was large with ample room for the table and 2 chairs and a desk. It was quiet. The breakfast was a total surprise - eggs and sausage and a waffle maker. This area was also very clean. "It is wonderful to visit a small town and stay in a quality hotel. My favorite aspect of the hotel is its location and setting next to a historic German hausbarn. The only negative I have - our room was near a hallway main door that squeaked when someone entered the hallway."

"It is a tired old 1950's motel that has had the rooms updated - very adequate. The outside and surrounding area is worn out and industrial. We did have plenty of towels, but there was no comfortable chair in our room and there are very few options for breakfast in this town. Overall - it was clean inside and adequate for sleeping but is not somewhere I would stay unless I needed to be in that specific area. "
