"casual check in late night, as I got tired on my way down from Oslo, so my booking was without the full spa package that the hotel is famous for. I could easily charge my EV during the night and the check in was smooth. The evening reception quickly booked me in the resturant before last serving, and told me to talk with the morning staff if i wanted to try the spa before leaving next day. Had a sold meal with good wine pairing and slept like a baby . After breakfast wich was nothing special I asked for the spa price and the lovely lady in charge gave me a free pass to experience it before leaving. Absolutely generous and a "yes, I will come back experience""

"lovely clean room, excellent strong shower, superb views over the snow covered hills. Staff were lovely and spa was an additional bonus. All in all an excellent relaxed quality place to stay."

"I can't say enough about this charming place. The service was friendly and excellent. The room was quaint (for some reason, they upgraded our room, which was a nice surprise). It was past high season, so it was extremely quiet, which suited us. The town and harbor were lovely to stroll through. "
