When we arrived, no one asked if we wanted help with our luggage or even opened the doors as we struggled with it. 3 68 year old ladies with 3 suitcases and 3 bags each.
Got to the front desk and our room was not ready. Sent us to the lounge to wait and treated us to a drink. No problem. Room was ready in half an hour.
The room looked great. The bar was very impressive but we did not partake. Went out for the evening and while trying to get ready for bed, discovered only 1 facecloth, 2 hand towels and 2 bath towels. There are 3 of us. Also the housekeeper had come in and did turndown service for 2. The hotel knew there were 3 of us, why couldn’t they prepare for that. We shouldn’t have to call housekeeping for things that should have already been supplied. It was late and we made due with what we had.
Breakfast was a fiasco. Sat down, got water. Had asked for coffee but it did not appear. When waitress took our order, we ordered 2 coffee and 1chai tea. One person got coffee. Waited about 5 minutes then went and got a coffee for myself. Chai tea never came even though we asked again. Food came , my order was wrong and my companion decided to just order regular tea. It arrived shortly. Everyone liked their meals.
Paying the bills took a bit of time as they had to be sent back to be altered to agree with what we had ordered. Machines weren’t working properly so more waiting. I realize the waitress was new and trying her best. I have to give her a break on that. She was
