Hôtel Baker

"I wish I had gotten her name but the lady that worked the evening shift at the front desk was AMAZING! When we checked in she realized that I spoke English and tried her best to speak English so I would understand. She also gave us great places to go visit while in Gaspe and she also used her “magic” and made it possible for us to stay an extra night as there was so much to see and do. The restaurant was delicious food and reasonably priced. I have already told my family about this hotel and will definitely be returning."

"We got the panoramic view motel with a queen bed and an AC that keeps turning off. The room is prepared and clean when we check in. The view from the small patio is great although you have to look pass all the RVs and cars park in the lot. The rates are a bit expensive even if paying for the view."

"Nordet provided us a wonderful 2-night landing spot during our exploration of Gaspe/Perce. Our room was very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. The staff, so friendly & helpful. We paid about $13x2 to have 2 bags of laundry cleaned; ie, $13 per bag. Our only wish, a window that opened so we wouldn’t have to run the A/C at night while we slept. The Netflix on the TV added to our evening enjoyment. Thank you for a great stay, Nordet!"

"We had a wonderful stay here as a family of five—two adults and three young children—and would definitely recommend it! We are primarily English-speaking, and although we tried our best to communicate in French, we truly appreciated how kind and accommodating the staff were. Everyone was more than willing to switch to English when needed, which made us feel very welcome. The hotel has beautiful views, and our kids absolutely loved spending time in the pool. Breakfast was another highlight: the pastries were delicious, the coffee was excellent, and there was a great selection of kid-friendly cereals and other options that kept our three little ones very happy! The location was also perfect for exploring the area. We were very close to the tourist/welcome centre and enjoyed several local restaurants, a boat tour to the island, and plenty of time at the fantastic playground there. With its beautiful location, friendly and accommodating staff, and family-friendly amenities, this is a wonderful place to stay with young children. We really enjoyed our visit and would happily recommend it to other families!"
