The couple who owned the property were very helpful. They gave me a ride to the train station on my last day as I was unsure how I was going to get there. The wife was very kind and helped me with some issues related to travel for me as I had not traveled much out of the US. My room was clean. The hotel is located in a great area. I thought it might be noisy as it was on the corner of two very busy streets, but it was very quiet.

This place is the perfect location for the German Quarter and the Bahai Gardens. Accommodations were clean and comfortable and our hosts were wonderful, they even offered us a ride up to the gardens which is significant walk up hill.

Wonderful experience!

My family and I really enjoyed our 9-day stay at the Santa Maria. As Baha’i Pilgrims, we could not have been at a better location (see attached photo from our balcony). Our hosts were very accommodating and responsive to our needs. Restaurants, grocery stores, and a good health clinic are close by. In sum, we highly recommend the Santa Maria.

The owners are very nice and let us have a bigger without additional charge. But the streets outside the windows are just noisy with lots of traffic. I’m a bit sorry to say that since the location is very nice.

The property is overpriced considering there is no breakfast and the fact that the accommodation is basic. The owners did provide numerous short car rides and even some laundry. These services were an excellent surprise. The building itself is old, but also histric (Geman Templar). It is at the base of the beautiful Bahai gardens with stunning views from the front of the property.

Great location, right next to lots of restaurants and just below Baha’i shrine. Has what you need to be comfortable. But they say parking included in their description. What they mean is good luck finding a parking spot on the street. Some times are harder than others. Since we chose this place in large part because we had a car and needed to park it, we really felt misled.

This is an old building. I noticed there is nothing hygienic. shower is very tiny, you can't take a shower properly without hitting the walls. a lot of things in the bathroom are rusted. shampoo bottle was empty. not enough towels available. no proper tea and coffee facilities, however the lady (owner) was very helpful and understanding and trying to make you happy.

Comfortable flat in prime location

The location of the Guest House is in one of the most beautiful spots in Haifa, immediately below the Bahai Gardens. We stayed in the large apartment, which was a very comfortable base for our Haifa holiday.

All in all good, but there were some issues

The hosts were very nice and the room was mostly good and pleasant. The location is great, we switched dates before our visit and they were extremely kind about it, but there were a couple of glitches: The air conditioner wouldn't shift and so was blowing on our heads at night, a problem that the host tried to fix but couldn't. The toilet seat was a bit off, the bathroom door had a loose knob. And the description wasn't very accurate. We thought we're getting a room with a bed and an open sofa, and the open sofa turned out to be two separate beds, which is fine, but not what we prepared for. There were a lot of stairs in the middle of the penthouse, one here, a couple there, and the kids fell at least three or four times. Other than that at night we had some noise from the street.

Excellent location, excellent room and excellent hosts. The owner was generous, she showed us multiple room options to make sure we will be comfortable and enjoy the room. The place is clean and new-renovated, sitting very near to the Baha’i garden entrance, the heart of Haifa. Exceeded our expectations, highly recommended and will definitely go there again! We loved our stay here. The room was very cozy, with a nice kitchenette and bathroom. The location is very central and convenient. Maria really takes care of her guests and is a wonderful host. I wish we could stay longer! Highly recomend!

Great place in the core of everything!

Our stay was awesome! Ricardo met us outside and assisted with our luggage and getting us a parking spot. Maria and Ricardo are very friendly and hospitable, made sure that we had everything that we needed in the room and even brought us coffee and cookies. Free parking is on the street and great location right in front of Baha’i Gardens. It’s a little loud because your right off the Main Street and literally steps from the door of the gardens. From inside the room, it’s quiet though. If you want to stay this close to everything in that area, then of course you must be ok with some noise/traffic. Overall, really nice place with an almost “villa” feel. Maria and Ricardo are really great hosts.

Great small family run hotel in wonderful location

We love this place. We’ve stayed before and will be back. Run by a very nice family, and excellent location and accommodations. Only negative is nearby road noise, but not overwhelming.

Baha'i Gardens location

The location was superb, on Ben Gurien at the bottom of the Baha'i Gardens. The hosts were fantastic, they took us to the top of the Gardens and also drove us to the bus station so we didn't have to take a taxi. The place was super clean and comfortable. Would stay here and recommend this to all my friends.

בית הארחה מצוין במיקום מצוין (ממש ליד הגנים הבהאיים) וברחוב שוקק חיים ומלא במסעדות. מרחק הליכה לתחנת רכבת השמונה ולעיר תחתית. החדר גדול ומרווח, והמארחים אנשים מקסימים!
