Queensland

Rainbow Beach offers a stunning backdrop against the blue green water and the green hilltops. The sands are an array of colours from yellow to rich red. This place gives the adrenaline junkie parasailers an ideal location to launch from and enjoy the views from the sky. Blue skies, sun shining, the water a beautiful turquoise colour and warm. A great place to take a mini break and also a gateway to Fraser Island.

On the road out of Rainbow Beach heading towards Seventeen Seventy, forestry is big business. Left side trees, right side, tree removal.
Even at 5am, Rainbow Beach is a stunning place to stay.
The coloured sand dunes are still visible as the sun begins to lift over the waters edge. A very special moment for my daughter and I as it was just us up and at the beach that morning.
