The standard room was too small for two adults, so we upgraded to a suite which we were very happy with. We liked the fact that the hotel removed all the unnecessary amenities such as swimming pool, etc. and kept the price reasonable.
Stayed for only one night (2 adults, 2 children).
Spacious (suite) with separate room for the kids (futons).
We were able to check in earlier, which was very nice.
Washing machine but no dryer (also no drying rack), therefore we did not use the machine.
Some cutlery would have been nice (not even teaspoons available), microwave a nice touch.
Only stayed for one night but the room was cozy, clean, and comfortable! It’s about a 15 minute walk from the bullet train station so be mindful of that if you’re hauling around luggage, the sidewalks are not luggage friendly. Overall, a great hotel in a great area with a lot of local food nearby! Would stay again for longer whenever I return to Korea.

Liked: Cleanliness
The rooms are much smaller than shown in the pictures. The lunch buffet was good.
I enjoyed my stay at UTOP. My room was practically a spacious two bedroom apartment. UTOP provided several amenities enabling a comfortable atmosphere. I would book again.
It was good to drink tea in the morning because there was a balcony and it was good to have an emart right downstairs
I should have checked out an hour late, but there was no problem.
It was soundproofed well.
Area is quiet except for military jets flying overhead close to restaurants, transportation and offices has a lot of bars if your into that overall great rates. No freebies need to purchase them
This is really a comfortable hotel. Staff is very friendly with a great service provided. Room looked like the pictures and was very clean and neat. Terrace was a great plus. It had also a movable frame with net against bugs and mosquitos. For this we could sleep with the door open en have fresh air.
Location is great, in a posh upscale area with lots of bars and restaurants. Also the nightlife scene is around but was no disturbance for us.
Overall best hotel we had in south Korea price quality wise.
Excellent modern property. Even though the room was small, they did an excellent job fitting everything into the space with plenty of storage, kitchen, sink, large fridge, closet, etc. all modern equipment. Bidet was better than most hotels. No complain in functionality despite the small space. The only complains are: (1) noise insulation, can hear neighbors (2) heated floor seemed to take temperature above thermostat temperature, we had to turn on the AC
We really enjoyed our 6 day stay. The washing machine and air-con worked so well. There were no strange noises and the coil bed was so comfortable. We slept well every night. The bathroom had a bidet which was helpful. The room itself was probably the usual size here but for us it just was enough. We had 4 bags and we had to shuffle things around whenever we opened one. Although no laundry detergent nor kitchen detergent (we supplied our own) it was still good. We also went to local Daiso (best stocked one so far on our trip) at Lotte Mart MAXX across street for done light camping dishes and cups (we brought our own chopsticks). Lotte Mart was also good for discounted sushi and sashimi after 7:30pm! The hotel loaned us a clothes dryer rack which was really appreciated. Our room was high up but try to get a room above 16 because those higher floors had 2 lifts whereas ours had only 1 lift and that meant we had to wait a bit sometimes to go up or down. I liked that you could open the tilt window to let in fresh air but we didn’t do that much. They provided 2 bottles of water every day and were able to clean our room daily if we wanted them to. Our toilet blocked twice during our stay but they have a janitor on call and he sorted it out within 10 mins. I think the first time was due to batteries going flat in the bidet remote controller as I saw him change the batteries (controller controls flushing). No toothbrushes but we had our own ones. Lots of good Korean restaurants too.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Can’t remember how many times housekeepers have tried to open the door in the morning. Not sure if they wanna kick us out as early as possible. Sticky floor and stained couch.
