I enjoyed this hotel, especially after I figured out how to control the A/C in the room. I got the Deluxe Double with Jetted Tub. I think the Tub may have been leaking somewhere, but the bathroom didn't flood (since there is a pipe connected to the floor. I also liked that the there was a separate shower space, so if you didn't want to take a bath, you could just shower instead.
The bed was kind of hard, but that's totally the norm in Korean hotels, so I'm not going to complain about that. They have a dryer/cloth shaker machine(?) in the room, which was very helpful getting wrinkles out, and for doing quick washes in the room.
The breakfast was very nice (we got the free breakfast option); not a lot of items, but they don't use additives, and everything tasted delicious. My mom is a very picky eater, and she loved the breakfast the entire time we were there. We really appreciated the free local phone service, as we needed to talk to a lot of people while we were there. Even after checking out, when we needed some help getting elsewhere or having to contact people, the front desk was very courteous and helpful. I don't know how well they speak English (probably not very well), but they do have Chinese workers at the hotel, so if you're Chinese, you'll have less problems with that.
We definitely will return to this hotel when we come back to Gwangju. I hope your service never wanes!
