「.」

「I had higher expectations of the hotel, due to the high ratings. However, when we arrived, the pool & hot tub were closed, the pillows were all lumpy, the bed was extremely firm, the shower light did not work, and the conditioner bottle was broken. At the front desk, the host verbally announced our room number and someone else’s information was displayed on the tablet. There were a variety of options on the continental breakfast but the quality was disappointing. Next time, I’ll find somewhere...

「We had a fantastic stay. Marietta is a great town, and the Lafayette is very much a historic hotel. The common areas are rich with historical context and artifacts, and the two restaurants serve different purposes. The nearby area has an abundance of things to enjoy, day and night. As a historic building, this beauty and texture also come with some compromises. While the front façade, lobby, and restaurant areas are grand and elegant, the floor in our fifth-floor room had a very unavoidable...

「I understand the building is old! Everything was a little grubby! Sheets were clean & smelled good! Not sure it was worth the price!!」

「Very charming and unique hotel. Great location.」

「Hotel was once a grand place - currently needs TLC. Not as clean as you would expect. Restaurant menu & service were not up to Blennerhassett reputation. Not sure I would stay there again.」

「Overall decent for the money」

Everything else seemed clean enough, but finding the floors that dirty was a real turn off. The staff was very kind and helpful. The free breakfast was quite good except for the totally burnt sausage links, which were ultimately replaced by sausage patties cooked properly, but not until I was leaving that area. We will consider a return visit,...

「Was told at check in the pool was open, although it's missing a foot of water. When my children went down to swim they were told they weren't allowed that it was 15$ per person.」

「wifi can't use」

「The property was as expected for the money. The bed was terribly hard. One room had a broken lock, one room had a broken towel bar.」
