The concierge was terrible and no one went out of their way. Although the hotel grounds and location are beautiful it was very touristy and impersonal with not much to do in the area."

"We left the hotel the next morning. The only one elevator broke and we were on the 5th floor. My wife is handicap and this was the final straw that bre my tolerance. No staff spoke English, no cofee for breakfast, no silverware, food was awefall. Pictures looked great, the property is ran down, in a bad area. Ah,tge toilet stopped workung after one flash, no tv, a projection screen hard to see during the day and local chinese channels only. "

We stayed in a room with a patio view but we used the rooftop bar to have the river view. We rented bikes from the hotel for just 40yenes for a full day around. "
