Beautiful hotel, very rural setting. Great hosts who helped us with visits to local areas of interest. We had dinner twice at the hotel and the food was excellent. Thanks and would love to return ine day.

Fabulous stay

We had a fabulous stay, Miele & Marc made us feel so welcome & nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was delicious as was dinner. Rooms are basic but you truly get back to nature the only sound being that of birdsong or goats.

Het verblijf was heel rustig en proper. In het zwembad konden we verkoeling zoeken bij de Spaanse temperaturen. De eigenaars zijn heel vriendelijke warme mensen. Ook het eten was top!

Tres sympa et dépaysant apres plusieurs jours dans les grandes villes. Les hotes sont charmants et aux petits soins. Les bruits d'animaux, le calme tout y est pour se detendre. A noter que la piscine n'est en eaux qu'a partir de mi juin.

Die Gastgeber Mieke und Marc waren einfach hervorragend! Sie hatten wertvolle Tipps und Tricks für mögliche Wanderungen und Unternehmungen vor Ort parat. Der Umgang war sehr herzlich und familiär. Das Angebot fürs Abendessen war sehr reichhaltig, frisch zubereitet und super lecker. Das Essen wird von Marc persönlich gekocht. Für Leute, die Ruhe und ganz viel Natur in Andalusien suchen, ist das die optimale Unterkunft. Die Umgebung ist einfach herrlich, Granada definitiv einen Abstecher wert. Auch hier konnte Mieke uns wertvolle Tipps geben, die den Trip unvergesslich gemacht haben. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden immer wieder dort Urlaub machen.

We loved this beautiful place. The hotel is charming and located in the mountains not far from Granada. Ideal place for hiking with spectacular views. The hotel offers good food and the hosts are very kind and helpful.

This is the perfect location to be out of the way and isolated, yet still very close to La Alhambra, Granada, the Sierra Nevada mountains and the beaches. The multi-lingual, Belgian hosts are beyond nice and made us feel as if we were staying in their home; which in fact we were. We loved the cooking and would return her again without question.

Fin de semana de Reyes extraordinario

Conocíamos el pueblo y la zona, pero no La fuente de la teja, todo un descubrimiento. Nosotros nos alojamos tres noches, en uno de los dos bungalows independientes que tienen. Bonitos y bien equipados para una pareja. Con su estufa y la leña en la puerta disponible sin límite ni coste adicional. El colchón también es muy bueno y el descanso una gozada. El hotel rural dispone de todos los servicios para una estancia cómoda. Ofrecen un desayuno muy bueno y tiene una carta en su comedor variada y rica de platos de la región y de cocina belga, ya que sus propietarios son de ese país. Son muy agradables y se esmeran en su tarea diariamente. Su salón y su chimenea son ideales para las tardes compartiendo café y tertulias. El conjunto lo completan sus animales, un adorable mastín del pirineo y una yegua. Un paraíso a solo media hora de Granada y de la estación de esquí. Nos quedamos con ganas de mas, así que hay que repetir. Gracias y saludos.

Fantastic location and lodging (notably the living room with fireplace), nearby both the Alhambra and the Sierra Nevada ski station. Ideal for recharging the batteries, with good food and superb hosts.

Best Kept Secret! A must stay to get away!

What a wonderful relaxing and restful stay! Ana and Paco made us feel at home... which is exactly what it was, their home! It was a great big home, remodeled with a handful of rooms that accommodated a handful of families and/ or couple... pets welcome too! My husband and I booked this for 3 nights with our 2 children, ages 10 and 7 and dog. We wanted to get away from it all, quiet and views. We had stunning views from our balcony and got to watch the sunset and rise each day of our stay. Hiking was possible right up the rode! They are amazing cooks too! All food, fresh hand made and absolutely delicious! The bedrooms are very comfortable with own private bathroom and TV. We brought a cooler and that sustained for the three days with sandwiches, snacks, and cold beers since the drive up and down the mountain could get tiring at times and if you want something other then the typical Spanish cuisine t. This place is about 30 minutes from the Alhambra and a cute little village that will lead you to the better hikes! If you want quiet, nature and to get away from the hustle and bustle, this is your place! The best is they take pride in this place and their recommendationsThe fresh air, views and hosts make this place a definite repeat for our family! We are already planning a visit again during the Ski season!

Nice little place

We stayed here for 2 nights and enjoyed our stay. The accommodation is basic but has charm. The owners are friendly and the surroundings are nice. A Spanish breakfast is included and there is the possibility for lunch/dinner (however we had these at the little town nearby which has a couple of restaurants, although remember all but one close for a few hours early afternoon). There is a little pool but we were there in mid-September and it was not warm enough to use it so can't comment on that! Ron the dog will accompany you on any walk nearby!
