I have stayed at this 2 star "Motel" and it seems that my experience there keeps getting worse! At all other major name brand hotels i have stayed at i have not been charged the IVA (TAX), only at this place. I spoke with the GMand she made me aware that actually tourists have a 90 day grace period from when they enter the country to be exempt. Needless to say many times a certain staff member has been charging me the tax without even knowing or being informed of the 90 day grace period. Their petty way of thinking is below my standards and i say adios to this place! The Motel needs to hire professional servers who know what the hell they are doing instead of hiring clueless "bodies"! Today i had breakfast and the waiter brought me the toasted bread first, then the sunnyside up eggs, then i had to wait 10 minutes for the bacon! The bacon was actually a slice of ham cut into strips to make it look like bacon. This wasn't the first time i had a bad experience with this particular waiter, but it will surely be the last! And to top it off he lauged about me getting upset! There has also been other issues concerning the kitchen (i'm a retired Chief Cook) and these things cannot continue to be happening AFTER it has been bought up to management's attention!! As i stated before what happened today verified that this Motel (it's really not Hotel standard to be considered a hotel) needs to hire competent, experienced servers who KNOW what the heck they are doing!
