15-40min to the exhibition hall. The hotel room is nice, breakfast is ok. The closest subway is not the same line to the exhibition. If you want to experience the suburban style of China, it is a good place to be.

Paco Hotels are a solid choice

When in Guangzhou, Paco Hotels are a solid choice for the Western traveler. The rooms are a little nicer and the service is slightly better than most other options. Just don't expect the room to be huge. This particular location is perhaps one of the lesser Paco locations. The reason is due to the street outside and neighborhood. It's noisy and not exactly clean in the streets, but if you want to see authentic inner urban city China - you won't forget it. The plus is that the lake and parks are not far away. Don't expect Western style food anywhere near here.
