This is a charming old house right on the main drag, 90 minutes from Yosemite Village. The innkeepers are a lovely couple who pampered us throughout. Very comfortable and accessible. Pleanty of walkable restaurant choices.
The owner and staff are very attentive and helpful. The fron room with the tea and coffee was comfortable and welcome. The room we had was a little on the small side, but that goes with a classic property. Bathroom on the other hand was very spacious and great tub.
Did not like the size of room. Very small. Requested a bath mat & rug for bathroom my request was ignored. There is a main area to make coffee which had china cups no cardboard. Nobody came to clean in the three nights I was there and there were no clean cups.
The lady was welcoming and very nice, the outside building is stylish by the room was old and the a/c was horribly noisy. Some charm but definitely not worth the price, sorry!
Very clean. Relaxing oval jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. Very small TV and the deck had only the view of the street and the description said view of the mountains so I gave it a 4 based on that.
The king bed had a lovely painted alcove which was the best feature of the room.

Get a new mattress, please!
The bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows were lumpy and not conducive to good sleep. The AC was extremely loud; it cycled on and off all night.

The advertised hot gourmet breakfast did not happen. We were given a $10 voucher for a coffee shop across the street for mediocre coffee and co a cold bagel. Very poor substitute

Curtain between bedroom and bathroom. No central heating, but electric heater. Breakfast voucher for $10 each at coffee shop across the street, really not breakfast included. Property and room need updates.

I like the property very much very Victorian style beautiful. Very very quiet being that we were the only ones there it was very peaceful. I would have to say the only negative points were that there was nobody there to greet you at a desk or anything like that and you have to call the person in charge to get a code to let yourself in the door and stay with them on the phone will they walk you through the process of getting the Wi-Fi code and getting up to your room and giving you a code to get into your door. I've never experienced that type of service before in my life that the woman that I worked with and was very delightful and walked me through it perfectly. The only part I was not aware of was that I had to call in before I was leaving to be told how to lock the devil upon my departure place. The rooms are very nice very warm during this cold weather
Unfortunately, this was by far the worst experience we had during our trip. Don't trust positive reviews on Expedia/Google-property may have been good in the past, that is no longer the case.
The check-in process was unnecessarily complicated and frustrating. We were required to make an international phone call, which cost us €20, even though the property is equipped with a fully functional video intercom system—through which we had already contacted the host—or could have easily facilitated a message-based check-in. Only two door codes and the room name were needed, making the entire process unnecessarily complicated. The host refused to check us in without a phone call, which was made even more difficult by the poor mobile network coverage in the area. Ironically, the entire property is under video surveillance, so the host could clearly see our location in the common areas.
We were also told, "We operate only in English," despite speaking English throughout our interaction. After check-in, the host’s question “Is the room clean?” struck us as unprofessional and inappropriate coming from someone managing guest accommodations.
The room itself was ok. The window could not be opened, toiletries have been used previously, and the only item available for showering was hand soap. While the inclusion of a hairdryer from the 1980s was somewhat amusing, it was not suitable for practical use.
It’s worth noting that the property is currently for sale, which may explain the experience.

Disliked: Amenities
When we booked on Expedia, we didn’t realize it was a B & B. For sale sign in the window. Door was locked when we arrived; had to call a number, then wait outside until someone opened the door. Person on phone said we should have called them directly instead of Expedia and we would have saved money. Staff finally opened the door and they argued with person on the phone about the reservation. Room not ready; had to come back in 30 minutes. Staff was doing his best to help. Noisy due to very busy street. Eccentric vibe. Town was nice. Great pizza place.
