"The resort was exceptional. The place, staff were outstanding. The view was beautiful
The food at the resort was disappointing.
I would give it a C rating. The location of the resort unfortunately was approximately one
and a half hours from the airport. Car service was painful! Once there. it became complicated to travel to other places to dine
BTY. their. excuse for a breakfast buffet was
inferior even in comparison to a number of
all inclusive resorts we’ve attended ,

"We ended up staying here due to a flight cancellation. We were tired, a bit cranky and starving. It had been a very long day with an 1.5 hour drive from the airport. We arrived at the hotel about 9.40pm, the restaurant just closed. The staff was amazing, the restaurant staff and chef were cleaning up and the front desk called them and explained our situation and out comes the chef and pointed out several dishes she could prepare due to my food allergies. They brought our food directly to our room. It was delicious by the way. We had concerns regarding if our taxi which was paid for by the airline if they would return for an early morning return to the airport, so we explained our concern and the front desk said they could have another taxi within 10 minutes if our taxi did not come. The staff actually were amazing and so kind. Would definitely recommend this hotel. And yes there is a wonderful ocean view, beautiful pool and deck. "
"The staff were fabulous! Kind, attentive, and just wonderful overall. The ocean views are gorgeous. Food was great with lots of variety as were the drinks. Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The spa was lovely! So was the cafe. Definitely recommend.
The one downside was that we were the last room before the new construction and awake to drilling, hammering or some other noise at 8AM each morning. And some attachment to the new build flapped in the wind and hit the building, making loud noises all night. We were in paradise so, we sucked it up but that was unfortunate and made our trip less restful than it should have been. "
"Amazing staff, resort is immaculate. Pool is nice. Beach is lovely. If you’re not a big eater/drinker, do the Bed & Breakfast option- huge breakfast buffet - and then we paid for dinner ( usual Caribbean island prices- $20 burger, $10 fries…. Better onsite restaurants $38-$75. "
"This is a hidden gem. The property upkeep is excellent, the room decor is really beautiful and the outside sitting areas are stunning. The location is amazing!, right in the middle of all the action and very close to the beach. I will definitely be staying there again and will recommend it to anyone staying in the Gros Islet area. "
"I think for a hotel of that stature, there should be microwave in the rooms or at least available in a kitchenette area, in additional to a ice making machine."
Royalton Hideaway Saint Lucia, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort - Adults Only
4/10 Poor
"The hotel was okay overall, but it felt a bit run down and could use some updates. The staff interactions were somewhat impersonal, and we didn’t feel particularly welcomed during our stay. Unfortunately, the food quality was quite disappointing and did not meet our expectations. The buffet area also had an unpleasant odor that made dining there difficult. Based on our experience, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to friends."
