"We had an all-around perfect experience at the Dorint Hotel at Sylt. The staff was incredibly friendly and generously allowed us both an early check-in and a late checkout. The breakfast buffet was huge and absolutely delicious. I had everything you could possibly think of, from eggs and fish to fresh German bread, yogurt, fresh fruit, Rote Grütze, cheeses, and so much more. Our room was comfortable, recently renovated with brand-new beds, and spotlessly clean, featuring large windows and a lovely balcony. The location is ideal, very close to the beach as well as the charming little town with its shops and restaurants. To top it all off, the hotel offers a great spa and a fantastic indoor pool. We couldn't have asked for a better stay!"

"Nice old-style hotel with new upgrades. Breakfast is good and you can have dinner there as well. Easy to walk to restaurants and nearby shopping. Parking is a bit hard to attain, especially if you don't have a compact car. Full size cars are hard to park in the area. Try to avoid summertime if you require AC, as the rooms I've stayed in don't have AC. This is the only downside."

"The property had flaking paint in bedroom looked like water damage. Overall cleanliness was poor lots of dust and cobwebs particularly upstairs behind sofa bed. Covers off sockets in two rooms. Lamp needs attention upstairs. Needs curtains in bedrooms to block out the light. We have stayed at this resort three times never had issues before."
