Regarding the location, I can say that it’s not one of the most convenient one’s. But, worth just for the view. I would definitely recommend NOT to stay in a room with 6 people. The house is a bit old, so you keep hearing the floor cracking so it’s hard to sleep with so many people walking around the room. Other than that, the breakfast is good, staff friendly and place always clean.

Good Stay
I’m a 59 year old solo traveler that stayed here September 20-23, 2023. I basically had just one roomie that was super considerate and nice for the two nights. Bed was very comfortable and things were quiet during my stay. Breakfast was good and kept me solid throughout the day. Has great views from my balcony. All-in-all, I pleasant stay and I highly recommend.

Amazing town
Grindelwald is such a pretty town so this hostel is the most cost effective to stay in grindelwald. Clean and good selection at breakfast. Only disadvantage is that it is located high up on the hill so it’s a steep treck up walking but bus also goes there every half an hour

Not sure if this is informed to guest.. but would be good information to share: - last bus from station - is a very very challenging steep uphill walk to the accommodation, esp. with luggage!

Great hostel!
First time I stayed at a hostel and was pleasantly surprised! Amazing views and amazing breakfast! Mountain can be seen from the rooms. Loved it was the original building!

Bus only runs till 7pm but going uphill is not fun but an experience. 15-20mins walk from station.

Everything excellent, just to reach by walk is very steep path, better take bus 122 or 121 and there is a stop just by the hostel entrance.

Super freundliches Personal und Zimmergenossen, so dass ich mich sofort wie in einer großen Familie geborgen gefühlt habe und jetzt nur noch zurück möchte. XD Super schöne Lage, wo man entwider sportlich hinwandern kann, oder auch bequem den Bus bis hin nehmen kann. Haben auch eigene erfrischende Wasserquelle, zu den wunderschönen Aussichten über dem Grindelwaldtal bis hin zu den Gletschern.

Great place just a bit far
This is a great place with friendly and kind staff. Just a but not close to the town. You have to take the bus to go there and NEVER ATEMPT to walk to there. The shortcut is full of ice that can't be walked. Also, the main road to there is only road for cars that's not possible for people to walk there. The Bus terminates very early like at 1800 so you have to manage you time well. There is no lift there so be preapred to take your packs through the wooden staris.

이 지역에서 저렴하게 숙박하기에 좋습니다. 전망 정말 좋습니다. 차량이 없으면 122번 버스를 타세요. 캐리어 가지고 걸어오는건 절대 말리고 싶습니다. 버스 막차 시간은 17시 55분 정도이니 유의하세요.

그린델발트 유스호스텔 뷰가 좋은 곳
그냥 테라스에 앉아서 있어도 힐링이 되는 곳 !!! 숙소가 깨끗하게 관리되고 있어서 여러사람이 묶는 곳이지만 좋았다~^^ 다시 한 번 기회가 된다면 조용히 산만 바라보며 하루종일 앉아만 있어도 좋겠다는 생각이 들게 만들어 주는 곳이었다:)

Dormir à l'orée de la forêt.
Lieu propre. Après 21H, il y a une solution pour avoir accès à la clef d'entrée. Cela se situe tout en haut du village, c'est calme. Grand choix au petit déjeuner.

올라가기 정말 힘들지만 뷰가 정말 좋은 곳, 조식과 시설 굿!
그린델발트에서 머무면서 힐링할 사람들은 추천합니다. 특히 아시아사람이라면 같은 한 방에 묶어주는데 잘하면 같은 나라의 사람도 만나실 수 있어요. 직원은 친절하고 조식은 최고! 햄과 치즈 빵 수제요거트, 커피 등등 만족스럽습니다. 가장 좋은 것은 뷰에요. 매일 그린델발트 마을이 훤히 보이는 곳에서 아침을 먹을 수 있습니다. 화장실, 객실은 청결하나 매트가 조금 더럽다는 점? 그래도 카운터에서 주는 매트커버 씌우면 문제 없습니다. 각 방에 세면대와 큰 짐보관함이 있어 좋습니다. 하지만 그린델발트 역에서 호스텔까지 올라가는 길이 매우 힘들고 특히 깜깜한 저녁에 혼자 올라가는건 무섭습니다. ㅠㅠ 저의 경우 그린델발트에 숙소를 정해두고 체르마트, 쉴트호른을 다녀왔는데 저녁에 혼자 올라가기 싫어서 일부러 일찍왔습니다. 그게 조금 아쉬웠어요! 하지만 일찍 여정을 마치고 호스텔에서 편안하게 쉬고 싶은 사람은 여기 추천할게요! 특히 밤마다 보는 뷰가 정말로 좋습니다 :) 올라가는게 좀 많이 힘들었지만 그래도 아침, 저녁마다 주는 분위기와 뷰가 너무 좋았네요! 추천합니다. (수건은 유로입니다. 수건가져오세요, 헤어드라이기도 제공하지 않습니다)

스마트한 유스호스텔
2인실에 있었는데 조식도 그만하면 훌륭하고 화장실도 다른 유럽화장실과 다르게 아주 실용적인 디자인임. 화장실에 어메니티가 없고 타월은 하루만 제공하고 다음날부터는 돈을 내야하는게 좀 불편하지만 휴지와 휴지통은 매일 갈아준다.침구도 복도 벅스에 비치돼 잇어서 언제나 가져다 갈아도 된다. 창문이 커서 숲조망이 훌륭하고 노스페이스가 보이고 자연속에 생활하니 상쾌하다. 트램이 122번 한 20ㅡ30분 간격으로 바로 숙소위 정류장 gagi sazi 에 서고. 숙소 오솔길을 가로질러 내려가면 10분후엔 그린델발트역에 다다른다. 3일을 머물럿는데 매우 만족스럽다.

酒店職員友善，不過帶大件行李會不方便，因為沒有電梯，距離車站要走山路20分鐘，沿途的風景不錯，如果想方便也有巴士，不過班次比較疏。可能在山上，所以晚上開窗會有小昆蟲飛入，而且大堂有很多烏蠅飛來飛去。

飯店位於高處，雖然距離火車站有點距離，但是每天窗外就能看到艾格峰，又有豐富的早餐可以享用，真的好棒！

太離譜了!
我訂了7間含浴室雙人房,連續2晚,分四張訂單,第一晚給我6間雙入房(其中5間有浴室,1間沒有),1間4人狹窄bunk房房(無浴室).第二晚給我5間雙入房(其中4間有浴室,1間沒有),1間4人狹窄bunk房(無浴室), 1間4人bunk房(無浴室). 我在入住時立刻抗議,但得到的回應是,要我自己去住別家旅館,當時僅答應退我,因住bunk房,每晚每間退35CHF.因入住時己晚,外面下雨,旅遊旺季在山區如何能換旅館,並且同行者需住不同旅館,不得不接受她的決定,當時即表示將向Hotels.com 抗議. 隔天早上因有一間房需換房(我們是很無奈的被迫接受,換房,是換到不同棟,沒有電梯,旅館也不提供搬運行李的服務).此時女老闆同意,換房的此間房不收費用,只收7CHF 稅金. 旅館不能提供適當的房間在先,又用威脅的語氣逼我們就範,雖事後做補償,但我仍不能接受.
