"Got in late, just before 12 midnight. Was greeted and checked in quickly, room was super clean and beautiful. I visited during the off season, so my view was of the frozen lake which i still found breathtaking. The tub in the room was clean, and i definitely sat for a while, with the cute fireplace glowing green and purple(its electric and you can customize the flames). Will definitely be looking to book here again, it also happened to be the hotel i wanted to stay in while i lived in Michigan, as a little staycation. Anyway, checked out the next day, they had the breakfast bar out and it was typical, grabbed a boiled egg and juice bc i was in a rush. They had a good variety of food and drink. "

"The room was magnificent and the staff really went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was good. The view was magnificent - I can only imagine how it looks in the summer."

"The hotel the 4 story section could use a refresh in the paint and finishing. The roof top bar had an amazing view and served a wide arrange of cocktails. The one major issue was there was no hot water! Common in older hotels, However the location was within walking distance of downtown!"
