"When I don’t hear a vacuum, I don’t believe the rooms are clean enough. I never saw nor heard a vacuum. The cleaning lady and staff were very friendly and helpful. That was a big plus. The hotel is completely remodeled but the building is so old that the floors are soft and creaky. And very oddly, the rooms smell strongly of cheap perfume. It was so strong that I considered leaving. I woke up coughing with an extremely stuffy nose and headache. Although I loved the staff, I’ll never stay there...
"It smells wonderful. The lobby is beautiful with a cute yummy restaurant. It is right across the street from all the cute shops in Downtown. The rooms could use a little love. Touch ups on scratched walls. Lightbulbs missing. Overall. We would stay again."
"The staff were very polite. The issue for certain was the repairs being done to the roof and building causing a horrible smell of mold and mildew. If I wasn’t there for a close family members funeral, I wouldn’t have stayed. I had to purchase Lysol and additional products to make the space inhabitable for the two nights because there were limited beds at other places."
