The room was fine, the bed was comfortable. The fact that someone opened our door to clean the room not once but twice before we had checked out was a bit off putting.
Staff was very friendly. Beds comfy. Everything was great. Very clean and quiet. The only issue was the shower head was kind of hanging out of the wall.
We rented the family suite. While it could do with some updating, the suite was incredibly spacious. It was clean and tidy, offering a nice living area for a good sized group to visit and catch up. There is a very handy kitchenette with a full size fridge along with two large bedrooms each with their own bathroom. The beds were very comfortable. Both bedrooms were very very very spacious. I am confident we will stay here again and again for family gatherings.
My buddy and I had a guided fishing trip Wed. morning at 7:00 on lake Tawakoni. We decided we would get a room close to the lake. We both
got a good nights sleep and made it to the lake in plenty of time.
The room was clean and quite---the only bad thing was their road is in really
bad shape.

Mystery stuff on bathroom wall was upsetting. Intake screen on wall was so dirty it made me uncomfortable. It’s a family hotel with little investment and probably just getting by. The area was pretty and felt safe. Room rate was high for the quality of accommodations.
room was clean and comfortable. staff very attentive when we had problem with TV. Very convenient to restaurants , etc. The only real concern was that i was unable to use my $50 Hotel.com card. I booked thru Hotel.com and thought i would be able to use the card as part of the payment. Card is active with $50 still on card. ??

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The Bent Tree was located right where we needed to be, the front office staff were friendly and helpful. Our room definitely needed some maintenance. The sink faucet was loose on the sink, so when you would turn on the water, the entire faucet swiveled. The shower head was only about 5' high, and the diverter would not fully shut off the tub spout so you only got about half pressure. The rooms definitely need room-darking curtains as the plastic mini-blinds don't keep out much light. But with all that we slept very well, and would consider them again if in the area.
The young girl in the front office was very friendly and polite. She was the highlight. The room was a room. It was very run down. The blankets were thin and the towels were like something that you have in a rag pile for cleaning with. The tile floor was sticky in places as if it had not been cleaned. The baseboards had dirt literally piled on them, I don't think they have ever been cleaned. The lamp didn't work. There was a sketchy man that appeared homeless sitting outside of my mother in laws room most of the night. Other than that, it was quiet. The field next door had a lot of wildflowers. If you aren't too picky it is a fine place to stay overnight.

2024 Solar Eclipse Adventure
We arrived on the 7th of April for the solar eclipse. We stayed two nights. The young lady at the check in window was extremely friendly and welcoming. Very simple process. Ice machine is in the office area. The rooms are in a block of 8 units, 4 on each side. It was parking at the door. Great!!!! It is very simple, clean and comfortable beds. The bedding linens are very dated but clean. The unit is clean just very dated. The shower heads are in need of replacement. They provided small coffee maker (with coffee), small refrigerator, microwave, tv, table and two chairs and all the bathroom products. The employees were walking around and very visable, so felt very safe and comfortable in our surroundings. They offered several picnic tables. Again it is very plain but for what we needed it was fine. We had our lawn chairs and just sat outside to have our glass of wine in the evening. The motel is close to everything!!!! Would stay again if ever in that area.
Well let's put it like this if you want to get sleep you might want to go some where else, but if you like to party all night and get loud with a bunch of coworkers or friends this is the place that don't mind that kinda behavior. You can play loud music and have a good time at the Bent Tree. But if you suffer from anxiety then you may want to stay far away, it's not the room or the service or the cleanliness they are spot on with that. Very clean very polite, at the front desk. Also there is one huge pot hole at the front watch out for that. Other than the party that they allow to go on right next door and in front of your room. You may want to take a pic of your room and window when you first get there and record anything that may come back and you get blamed for, like a break and crack in a window. So who pays for it? Of course the one that rents the room to the broken window. They wouldn't possibly think anyone else could have done it. But when they threaten to call police and press charges you have no choice. Don't call police on the disturbance. Hell I wouldn't either retaliation is not something to sign up for so being they have our name address license plate and phone number we have to pay for it otherwise they can say and do it give our info to who ever they want they are not from here by the way you can't understand half the words they say. Other than all that Yeah it's a great place to stay one night I wouldn't recommend 2 nights. We stayed 1 to many nights
