As this a newish property I expected it to be clean and well-maintained and it was. The front desk personnel upon check-in were extremely pleasant and helpful. Great location for everything you’d want to do in Greenville.

I had ordered a king bed on Expedia. When I checked in online, AC hotel said I had two queens. So I called the hotel. She said Expedia switched me. However, when I arrived at the front desk of AC hotel, the AC staff quickly spoke up about my complaint and said we had to switch you to two queens. She gave my husband (whose birthday it was) two drink tickets at the bar to compensate us. We don’t like that AC changed our Expedia reservation from king to two queens.

Upon arrival we were met by the nice staff, We had to valet park our vehicle for 25 dollars a night for 2 nights. We were then given our room, when we stepped into the room we discover it was a handicapped assessable room. Knowing this, We were uncomfortable. being that I work in the field that services the disabled, if a person would have needed this room and we were occupying it. Therefore we asked for another room. We went out that night, on our return to the hotel the valet staff was not there to park my truck, I had to park it in the parking lot in front of the hotel. The next day about 3 pm I went go out and the truck was in the same spot I parked it. With all the restaurants close to the hotel there is nothing available past 11pm, and with this hotel being a so called high-end hotel they have no room service available. We were there for a Family members birthday party. The party was great. When the party was over a group of us went to Junipers which was on the same floor, the group was 16 who were all staying at the hotel that night. 8 rooms we all spent money for. when we went to Junipers the security guard told the bartenders not to serve us. We left, went down to the other bar, where we did get served. While sitting and having our drinks and great conversation the security guard comes down and speaks to the manger of the bar we are at, standing in close proximity to our group trying to intimidate us. We will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I was not given the type of room I had previously reserved. I was downgraded to a basic double queen, even though I had reserved a king. What's even more upsetting is the number of people that received a king after I checked in. Even though I was told they were over sold and everyone that day would be placed in a double queen.

It was our anniversary, so we paid extra for a better room - hindsight I would have paid the lower price. Our “splurge” room with a view turned out to be in the second floor (in a high rise hotel that hardly seems like a view). It was directly above the kitchen/breakfast area. There was loud music that began at 4am. After getting up a few times trying to figure out where it was coming from, I finally called down to the front desk to ask if it could be coming from the kitchen. I will say that they did turn it off after I called, but not until a couple hours after it began - not sure why they would allow loud music that early in the morning when they know there are guests right above them. The sliding glass door to the bathroom did not fit well and could not be closed all the way so zero privacy, and the shower was terrible - no water pressure at all. We tried both the rain shower head and the hand held - neither worked well. Very disappointing stay. We go to Greenville often and have stayed here several times. We have not had these issues in the past, but this stay will make us think before we book here again. I’m not one to write reviews, but this stay was truly subpar.
