You get what you pay for - the golden rule. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was pretty sad. The hallway was not vacuumed in weeks most likely, our sheets had a variety of stains - primarily what looked like little blood stains, the room cleanliness was very superficial. The rooms were well worn. The upside as I said before was the friendly staff, and also good location. We weren’t upset because we got what we paid for.

Weed stinky and way too hot.

Staff were nice and friendly. Bed was uncomfortable. Room was way too hot and AC was set at 67. It never cooled down. Hotel was noisy. Lots of weed smell for a nonsmoking hotel.

The night check-in lady was always pleasant, and the new management is working to update the property. Those were all the positives. The towels provided had small hair embedded all over both sides, the microwave didn't turn because the wheel was missing, there was a newer iron but no board to iron on, the a/c couldn't keep up with the outside heat, we were missing a pillow, there was hair painted into the wall, the walls and doors were extremely dirty, there were small curly and long strands of red hair in the tub, on the ice container tray, and surrounding the floor outside the tub. Inside the tub and on the desk pubic hair was found. We had an issue we are still waiting to resolve with getting double charged. The absolute worst was my child picked up a dirty, used tattoo needle that was on the floor near the bed. I wrapped it in tissue and plastic to bring down to the woman at the desk and the ink bled a bit, so it was fresh. The woman didn't even take it, told me to come back later to talk to the manager. The manager was nice, but tried to blame previous management. I stand by my statement that dirty towels, hair all around the bathroom, and a dirty needle is a current issue. I hope it was taken seriously and that steps are taken to improve the service as much as they are attempting to improve the building itself. There has still been no concern for my child to see if she was injured - this includes from the hotel, the manager, and from Choice Hotels who I also contacted.

When we checked in, we were told they were replacing carpet and to use the back stairs. The back stairs were covered in scraps and big pieces or carpet. Everytime we walked by the installers, they would complain about their working conditions and the hotel staff to guests. At 10pm they tried to tell us they would be entering our rooms that night to get to the threshold. We had three rooms and five kids and this was absolutely unacceptable. We locked our doors and came out to loose, sticking up carpet outside our rooms. Staff was civil at best and area was quiet. Would definitely never go back.

You definitely pay for what you get. In our case, not too much! It wasn't one of the worst hotel rooms nor was it the best. We were beset with small problems then 1 huge one! The two were a damaged plug for a hair dryer, and burnt out light. The big one was when the refrigerator quit, and we lost all our food and almost costly medications. After that we had to abruptly leave, and find better accommodations. Without a maintenance man,honestly, I don't know how much longer they can stay in business? Better to pay more, than to pay less. We found them, but not at a Quality Inn Thomasville!

The hotel is old rooms were adequately sized bed was squeaky and uncomfortable everything about the room is outdated with the exception of USB ports for charging phones that didn't work. Breakfast was very limited only Donuts yogurt and Waffles were available.

There were other maintenace issues such as the toilet running, bathtub dripping and the bathroom door needs to be replaced. The room itself was not clean.
