Although there was no front desk, Evi welcomed us at arrival and showed us how to work everything in our room. The rooms are beautifully decorated and each door is named after a tree. The rooms we comfortable with a very deep shower which is separate from the toilet/sink area. The a/c worked well as well as the WiFi. We were only there for one night to be in close proximity to the airport and seaport. We had complimentary water, juice and coffee machine with pods and cream for the morning.everything was smooth and we got a good nights sleep. The building is quiet and rooms are sound proof. Blackout curtains we a plus to keep the sunlight out. It was a nice way to end our trip and take a break from the bigger hotels.

Overall it was a beautiful room and nice property with friendly staff and easy check in. The one recommendation is that the elevator lacked a door from the inside, which could be a safety hazard if something were to get caught.

Artsy (as the name suggests) and very tastefully rennovated rooms in an old, conveniently located appartment building in Heraklion. Fully furnished suites. Extremely responsive and helpful owner. Highly recommended.

We had an overnight stay as we had an early trip from the port which is around 10 minute walk away. The property is nicely decorated and clean and and our room had a small kitchen area with a fridge. We would stay at the property again if we were in the area.

We had a nice overnight stay here however wouldn't want to stay for more than a night as it could feel quite claustrophobic. The room is nice but not a great size. Facilities good. Communication with Yainis was good with prompt responses. Would definitely book again for an overnighter.

The hotel is well organized and they have everything what we need. The room is well decorated with nice ceilings lights. its very close to the sightseeing, restaurants, bakery. Good direction how to get there and easy checkout.The cleaning lady is so friendly and did a good job with our rooms. Plus parking on site very convenient. Highly recommend this place. thanks again.

Conveniently located. Great atmosphere! The property owner was a gem and gave such great information. They don’t have a standard check in process so it was helpful to have text visuals and step by step instructions on how to enter the building. Also there’s parking!! You don’t have to drive around trying to locate a spot or pay anywhere. So nice! Great vibes all around!

A hidden gem of Heraklion. My wife and I stayed only one night but it was an absolute delight. The room was magical: imaginative decor, modern amenities including a kitchenette and a rainfall shower head. We stayed at five different hotels throughout our whole trip but the Artree was a top-two favorite. FYI, check-in was all over WhatsApp. The manager is extremely timely with responses, providing all in the information you'll need.

No hot water. Self checkin was smooth. Place was clean. Good kitchen, bedrooms. AC worked well. Parking is good. Area is sketchy. Easy walk to ferries. Host was polite.
