Inverdoorn Private Game Reserve
Loved it! Beautiful resort, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Interesting safari experience with plenty of time for photos and questions. It is a conservation reserve but felt like a safari. Saw 4 of the big 5 plus hippos and cheetahs

Old Mill Lodge, Working Ostrich Farm & Restaurant, Oudtshoorn
Our room - a tent was exactly what we hope for. In photos you could look from the deck across water & to the ostriches - we didn’t see a single one for the duration of our stay. We booked dinner, it was inedible.

The farm surrounding is picturesque and we loved the cabin. What a nice touch to have a gift for the children too! The hospitality was excellent, I highly recommend this if you are looking for some peace and tranquility.
