The staff was amazing throughout the stay. There was always fresh cookies during the day and breakfast in the morning. The best thing was the pool. It was the warmest pool that I’ve ever been in at a hotel!

Disappointing Stay – hardly any breakfast. We were extremely disappointed with the breakfast situation at this hotel. There was barely any food available. The staff did not bother to replenish anything, leaving guests to scramble for whatever scraps remained. If you are choosing this hotel because they offer breakfast, you are better off looking elsewhere or planning to spend extra money at a nearby cafe.

The pool and water slide was great! Nice warm water. The breakfast was excellent! Room cleanliness was good. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. More attention to detail would make it better. The lampshade was damaged/stained and the bathroom could have been a bit cleaner. Overall we would definitely stay again! We received our $50 incidental deposit back immediately on checkout.

This is our 2nd time staying there we were there in June for 6 days. So we arrived on a Wednesday and left the following Wednesday. Our room bed sheets was not changed once , they didn’t take the trash out once we had to bring down to a can on the 3rd floor by the coke machines where it sat by the trash can because the can was full from Sunday to Wednesday. Not once did they vacuum or floor. The breakfast area downstairs was really filthy and needed a good vacuum as there was food all over the floor from the days before. Quality of breakfast was very poor and some days it was late getting out by 30 minutes or so. They had a new person doing it and the lady before her on our last stay was wonderful. The food was good and actually had seasoning where you could taste it. Very bland, juice in machines was watered down very much. We love the property and location but I think this ruined our chances of ever staying there again. We we try other properties in November. I’m surprised they haven’t received some sort of fine or warning for be that unsanitary. My recommendation is DONT STAY HERE if you like clean and great housekeeping because if I could have I would give it ZERO stars. Maybe their corporate manger needs a phone call and some different folks working there who actually care about cleanliness, good service and edible breakfast.

I booked this hotel because they advertised a water slide. What they don’t tell you is that it is only open on select days and times - and when I arrived I was told it was closed. My grand kids were very disappointed. As well, the room I had requested was to have a sofa bed - there was no bedding provided until I asked for it, then I had to make it up. The mattress on the sofa bed should be garbaged - it did not fit the bed, was ripped, and very thin. The hotel has seen better days - our room needed a deep clean and a serious upgrade - the carpet was just awful, the mattresses were hard, and very little was in the bathroom (had to ask for toilet paper), and the AC ran constantly and was loud.

Overall the hotel was just ok. It felt like this building was bought from another business and slapped with a holiday inn express label. The lady running the breakfast was working her butt off to keep folks fed and tables clean, everyone else was kind of meh. The floors were dirty when we arrived and still dirty when we left 2 days later. There was a smell of broccoli and something nasty on our floor and the elevators in general. Our bathroom had that lingering smell of urine like a public bathroom. You wanted to keep your shoes on in the room which is a funny feeling when your from Canada. It's a hotel run through by thousands of people so honestly nothing above was a deal breaker. However, upon arrival... I selected this hotel as a bookend to our vacation. I selected it specifically because it had an awesome slide and pool. Specifically because I have young kids that would have a blast. I drove an extra hour and spent extra money just for this slide/pool. On arrival only I was informed the slide was broken. I would not have gone here at all if I was informed that the slide was broken. Felt mislead and cheated. If I booked an Airbnb with an advertised hot tub and it was not working, an apology on a placard would not suffice. We were also given the handicapped room and given a look like I had 2 heads when requesting a regular room. Not going to return to this hotel, been to other holiday inn Express and this one doesn't hold up.

The pool needs a reno, the slide is falling apart. Staff was slow to refill breakfast options. Didn’t have sheets for the pullout in the room, and not enough towels for our group. We were driving back to Calgary from Utah and decided to stop in Great Falls for the night. We looked up hotels and despite being a bit more expensive than we wanted, we chose this hotel for the fact that it had a pool AND a waterslide. We had a 3 year old and 3 teenagers who desperately wanted a fun waterslide. Even as we drove up to the hotel property, the kids saw the hotel waterslide as it’s mostly exterior. They got very excited. We checked in only to discover the waterslide has limited hours only and not open the night of our stay. Our kids were devastated. These hours were not posted on the website. Had we known this, we would have chosen a much cheaper hotel. Also, the breakfast appeared good but when we arrived at 8:30, (breakfast hours 6:30-9:30), several items were gone and not replaced, (cinnamon rolls, eggs). This is not okay. All guests should have access to the same breakfast options irregardless of what time they arrive for breakfast and with one hour left, this was not acceptable. We were very disappointed. For the price we paid, we have certain expectations and this Holiday Inn fell way short!

Unfortunately I have to leave a less than stellar review for this location. The property is run down and what amenities ?!? The slide- the ONLY reason we selected this location, was closed bc it wasn’t the weekend? And there were swim lessons going on by outside vendors that we were “allowed” to swim alongside in a very small space. In my opinion if you market certain things as ones that your paying guests can enjoy, then those things take precedence over third party vendors using your facility to make profit.

We booked this hotel for the hot tub and the slide for the kids to use while we were in Great Falls for 9 days. Slide and hot tub were both broke the entire stay. Arrived a day late due to a ground stop in Denver and had to fly to Bozeman since there were no other flights available. Daughter had to drive 3 hrs to pick us up. Rental car was canceled because it wasn't picked up within the 24hr window, hotel charged us for the night we wasn't there because we booked thru Expedia and they refuse to help at all to change the location of rental car or anything. Just an fyi if using 3rd party apps
