"Room and bed were clean as I would expect bath and toilet were clean, shower pressure was mediocre as I usually expect. Location was excellent as my ski resorts were within close proximity as well as restaurants (think Bogies, awesome food and reasonable prices). Check in was a breeze and Brian the manager was quite pleasant and informative. Will stay again on my next ski trip in the area."

The room was spotless and spacious with a comfortable bed, and a lovely continental breakfast was provided. The short walk or drive to the charming downtown of Great Barrington made it even nicer! "The hotel recently changed hands and the new owners weren't completely prepared for guests. It's advertised as a B&B, which implies breakfast is included in the cost, but it was not. Having said that, the breakfast was excellent and really delicious. Highly recommend. Housekeeping did not refill the provided shampoo, body wash or conditioner when they cleaned the room. Our room was at basement level but received lots of light; however, we could hear footsteps of everyone walking in the common areas on the first floor. It didn't bother us that much, and the hotel was otherwise very quiet. The mattress sank in the middle, so my partner and I ended up rolling into in the trough in the middle of the bed when we fell asleep. I hope the new owners switch out the mattress soon."
