Good stay

This hotel was good even though outside of main town. We had a large family room with balcony overlooking the front entrance. But no kettle or fridge. Room was very clean, beds comfy and shower big and worked well. Parking was 13 euros per night. Breakfast was good - not great. Staff friendly

I booked Jafa Hotel through Hotels.com and my experience was extremely disappointing. The room was infested with cockroaches, which made the stay very uncomfortable and unacceptable for any hotel standard. In addition, the room had a very poor and unsafe design — the main light switch was placed directly behind the mattress. Every time I moved during sleep, the light would turn on, making it impossible to rest properly. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. I strongly urge Hotels.com to review this property’s listing and would not recommend staying here until these issues are properly addressed.

Overprice. No warm water for shower in the evening as it was freezing in Graz that was not good. The location is not in the best neighborhood, tuck in the middle of estate and that close to the center.

Great breakfast, not ideally located

We stayed for 2 nights. We chose the hotel because it has a good review on breakfast, and it was not disappointing. The breakfast was excellent. The breakfast room was very pleasant. The staff are great and welcoming, except an older gentleman in the reception. We booked place for 4 and only 3 prepared, but this was dealt rather swiftly - thanks to room service team. When we were there, there was an on-going building construction next to our building, within the hotel premises. We did not know about this, nor being informed about this. The workers started quite early, and definitely waking us up on daily basis. The hotel location is not great. Although it is theoretically only 11-15 minutes walk to the train station, this is definitely not a pleasant thing to do as the route is next to a very busy and polluted (ring-)road, especially in summer days. During our stay, to avoid this road, we deliberately to travel to the city centre first by bus and take a tram to the central station. It costed us a few minutes extra but it was much more pleasant experience. If you are not depending on public transport, perhaps this place can be a good one.

Der Personal war sehr, sehr freundlich beim Check in. Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig und in Ordnung. Das Bad ist groß. Frühstück ist in Ordnung. Für jeden ist etwas dabei. Die Innenstadt von Graz ist fußläufig erreichbar. Etwa 20 min. Alles in allem ein gutes Hotel.

Wir hatten das Familienzimmer (4 Personem) und man sollte wissen, dass das Bad so in den Raum integriert ist, dass bei einer Benutzung bei Nacht, das ganze Zimmer ausgeleuchtet wird. Das obere Drittel des Badezimmers besteht aus einer Glasumrandung. Die Ladesäule (AC) eines externen Anbieters, ist definitiv zu teuer 0,76 ct/kWh plus Blockiergebühr ab 2h. Die Betten waren stark „durchgelegen“ und quietschen ordentlich. Das Personal beim Check-In ist top gewesen und das Frühstück (Auswahl) auch. Das ist die erste JUFA, bei der ich nächstes Jahr eine Alternative ausprobieren werde.

Unser Zimmer hatte seine besten Zeiten schon hinter sich. Die Zimmertür musste mit einem Schlüssel geöffnet werden, also nicht mit der Karte. Diese hatten wir aber zuerst erhalten und als wir mit dieser nicht in unser Zimmer konnten wurde uns zusätzlich der Schlüssel übergeben. Aber auch die Vorhänge bzw. Stores und die Wände könnten eine Renovierung vertragen. Auf dem Sofa waren noch Spuren der Vorgänger (Bonbon etc.). Positiv zu erwähnen sind die Matratzen, aber auch das Frühstück war i.O.

Das Zimmer war recht klein, aber sauber; sehr wenig Steckdosen. Das Bad und die Dusche waren sehr beengt und es gab dort kaum Ablagemöglichkeiten. Der Parkplatz vor der Tür war gut. Das Frühstück war super. Bei flottem Schritt ist man in einer halben Stunde im Zentrum.
