"It was surprisingly good for as old as it was. It is the only motel in town. I wasn't expecting much based on some of the reviews I read (many were very old) so I was pleasantly surprised. Pros: The room was decent. The coffee was good and available all day. It was quiet The room had a jacouzy The AC worked well. The counter people were helpful and friendly. Not nearly as bad as some of the other reviews Cons The hairdryer did not work The breakfast was very limited in choices It is an old motel I would definitely stay there again."

"The rooms were spacious and appeared to be recently updated. Overall, I’d rate the cleanliness a 7/10. One housekeeping improvement would be to vacuum the AC units and air vents, as there was a noticeable buildup of dust that blew into the room whenever the air conditioning was turned on. The “gym” is very limited, it can only accommodate three people since there are just three cardio machines. The space could be put to better use by adding two treadmills and a small free-weight area. The indoor pool was clean and nice for families with young children, but it’s too small for swimming laps. Overall, it was a relaxing, laid-back place to stay and customer service was a delight. Despite a few areas for improvement, I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay there again. Starbucks and Chick-fil-A next door, Walmart across the street with some nice local shops."

"This hotel was the only one we could find within nearly a 100-mile radius after multiple flight cancellations and major concerts in downtown Charlotte left virtually every room sold out. We finally found availability around 11:00 p.m. and even had to take a $170 Uber just to get there. Despite the stressful circumstances, the staff made a difficult night much easier. They were incredibly friendly, understanding, and genuinely empathetic about what we had been through. Since our luggage had been sent to our destination without us, we arrived with no bags, no clothes, and no basic necessities. The staff went above and beyond by providing us with complimentary drinks and hygiene kits, which was a thoughtful gesture that meant a lot after such a long day. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed to get some much-needed rest. Most importantly, the exceptional customer service turned a frustrating travel experience into a positive one. I truly appreciate how well the staff treated us and would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality! If you’re traveling back to the airport using Uber, it’s best to plan ahead and order the Uber night before and give yourself an hour and a half drive time. There’s not many Ubers in that area that will travel back to that airport."
