No frills clean business hotel.
Clean and modern business hotel. Rooms are small but well equipped. Good service. On-site free parkingis a plus. Decent breakfast. Had trouble regulating temperature in the rooms.

Convenient
More choices at breakfast would be nice as well as either a refrigerator in the room or an ice machine in the hotel. t was convenient that it is close to a bus stop.

Police knock on guests’s rooms at stupid hours
This hotel is visited by the police daily to check in on tourists. They have the sadistic and nasty habit of knocking on visitor’s room doors to compulsory demand the immediate payment of traffic fines which inclusively may be unknown, giving them the alternative to spend a few days in prison! What a way to spend a night. I would not recommend this hotel due to constant police harassment.

The hotel is on the outskirts of an industrial park that has a fair amount of heavy vehicle traffic. There is a "Budget Ibis" under construction that is attached to this hotel and not visible in the promotional photo. The hotel shares a parking structure with a small casino that has table games and slot machines. Overall the hotel was nice with clean small rooms and European tourist class accommodations for a continental breakfast and simple bar service.

New Ibis Hotel
Front desk lady is curt. The younger one is friendlier. Parking is 6CHF with no alternative. Hotel is half done, is still building, not finished yet, so there's still people working on the construction. Cleanliness is superb as the hotel is still new. Room is adequate, with one extra pillow. Bed is comfortable. No kettle. No fridge. Ibis standard.

Stayed in the hotel for almost a week when visiting Bern and Fribourg. The staff was nice and the room clean and comfortable with no frills. Continental breakfast was good. Two downsides worth mentioning are location (15 min on a bus from Fribourg centre) and somewhat slowish and problematic Wifi (need to change password every 3 days). But overall it was a good value for me considering hotel prices in the Bern area.

Good for an overnight stay
Only stayed for one night whilst travelling through Switzerland. We found it clean and comfortable for a budget hotel stay. The shower was great. It would have been nice to have been able to make ourselves a hot drink in our room but they did not provide a hospitality tray or kettle. The bar area was very pleasant.

Quick stopover, a very convenient location for it, but not much to do in the area apart from the Casino.

Aircon didn't work....thinking it would take time to cool the room i didn't complain i went asleep later, as i was tired..but had a very discomfort sleep..

Budget hotel only in switzerland
Like all ibis hotels you know what you are getting, a basic room at an affordable price (for switzerland), comfortable beds, quiet room, nice shower etc. In this hotel however the air cond struggled as it was a very hot day. Locality is close to motorway but neighboourhood has nothing, a fair distance to city centre which is very intersting and worth a visit.

A good base....
modern n fresh , comfortable and good amenities. Staff were efficient n pleasant. Had a very pleasant stay. Parking right in front of hotel. Nearby, a large shopping place . It was also easy to get into Fribourg central/ old city itself... A very short drive away.

Very good hotel and excellent staff
We stayed for 1 night, the receptionist (Anne) was very very helpful and friendly. the room upgraded with extra bed for free. another major advantage was a free parking at the hotel. Finally, they managed to get the breakfast ready earlier cause we wanted to leave early to catch out flight.
