We did not feel comfortable there, and room was relatively expensive. Therefore we drove back to the reception to ask for a room at the main hotel. In the reception they claimed that we had booked a room in the cottage. But no cottages were shown at booking by pictures or in writing, nor in our confirmation. "Good place for overnight stay when on a long travel. Very close to motorway, good breakfast available from 6 am, check in possible very late. Good value for money. "

"Very close hike to town and Wartburg castle. We only used taxi from and to train station. Room was small but very comfortable. Bathroom was larger than expected. "

"It is situated in tranquil village around the old monastery. Check in, Restaurant and Bar are in main Hotel Kloster Haydau in approx. 100m distance from The Old Post Station. Private parking in Poststation private yards normally possible. Very friendly staff. This was my second night spent here, first was Year ago. Price performance ratio is splendid, and only some 30kms away from Autobahns, You can have nice and peaceful stay in rural area. I'll definitely reserve a room again."
