I was very happy to find the Lone Eagle Lodge as a place to stay after traveling all day. The receptionist was very helpful and the room we stayed in looked new. An added benefit was the late night restaurant where we were able to get a meal.

We were late arrivals and things went very smoothly with key pickup. We were also early departing (hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park), and that worked fine also. We have stayed there several times in the last few years, and it's always a good experience, right there in downtown Grand Lake. And, they had an absolute fabulous October / Halloween displays throughout the parking lot, very entertaining and fun.

We loved the location and it seems like the ownership is trying to update the property. We found some stains on the sheets and some of the amenities in the bathroom weren’t up to standards. We had quite a bit of noise late and yearly due to the attached restaurant.

The rooms are clean with plenty of space. Our friends had a nicely renovated room while ours was seriously dated. There was no AC, so it got pretty warm in the room. It's great location - walking distance to restaurants, shops, the theatre and the lake. The staff were helpful and friendly. Our entry code didn't work and it was sorted out quickly. Overall it's comfortable and quiet place to stay when in Grand Lake.

The room was clean and spacious with a table for two at the window. Nice metal bench right out front on the porch. Staff was friendly and helpful. The location was perfect to walk to the downtown shops and a short walk to the park between the lakes

The lodge was very convenient and the area was quiet even though it was on the main street. It looks like a log cabin. The exterior was decorated for Halloween. The only interaction with staff came because our key code did not open the door. I called the number sent in the email and someone answered immediately. She reset the code and we were able to get in. The queen room was large. It was clean as was the bathroom. There was a table and chairs in the front of the room and a basic small fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The room had a mountain lodge vibe with some retro (60s-70s) furniture. The room was carpeted. They don't offer breakfast but did have a large common area that was also key code access and this code worked. There were tables and chairs and an icemaker in the area. Parking was right outside the door.
