End of a era!
We had come to this hotel for 15 years during the holidays bringing our whole. Family 23 members . Unfortunately the hotel Is closing and being turned into apartments. Truly a loss. Lots of great memories

The kitchen and restaurant was closed so we could not get breakfast or any meals on site, and the pool was closed for most of our stay because there was no lifeguard. It was supposed to be open Monday till 8 pm and we went down to use it at seven pm and the lifeguard had left early so we could not use it. Really bad service for being able to enjoy the beautiful pool and hot tub. I think the hotel should alert people by email or text that the pool is closed at hours that are different than posted or that they may close randomly at the whim of staff, so people can decide to stay elsewhere if they want.

Beautiful suite. Loved the patio with the lake view however they need to invest in better chairs. 2 Metal folding chairs were just inappropriate but everything else was great.

Hotel was very nice. Heater in room was extremely loud, found it hard to sleep when it kicked in made a really loud noise. Friendly and helpful staff. Gym was one of the better hotel gyms I’ve seen. Decent amount of equipment and including free weights.

It was off season. No in-house breakfast. The pool was very large and clean. They put us on the front ,room when a back room would have given us a river view. It was nice for the money ,but it felt like the movie the shining.

Very beautiful location with a very nice pool and workout area. Our room however was very disappointing. We were in a non smoking room that still reeked of cigarette smoke. Our balcony was falling apart which was a bit sketchy. And all the other room next to us had very nice and not destroyed balconies. We had one of the more expensive rooms so it was a bit disappointing to have our room be so disheveled. Great property location and super friendly and courteous staff.

Quiet - almost to the point of deserted. Hotel was clean, but felt dated. Breakfast buffet was good, but not worth the extra $15. Food selection was comparable to free breakfasts at other hotels

It was great that they let us check in so late (4am) but I was given the wrong room which was annoying. Once that was resolved our stay was great. The hotel needs a little renovating. Looks like there was some water damage and the suite furniture is dated. The hot tub wasn’t working and the pool was super cold with all the doors open which was a little weird. Parking was free but the breakfast buffet was $16 per person and we could never find it which was also weird but over all it was nice. The location saves this hotel it’s a really beautiful neighborhood.

The outside was not tended to at all- weeds in the parking lots, grass wasn’t mowed. There was no curb appeal. The inside was clean but it seemed like a ghost town in there. It seemed only parts of the hotel were being used. The handle on our toilet was broken. It wasn’t made clear where ice machines were.

Upon my arrival I noticed right away that the landscaping had not been done in weeks. Walked in the lobby to check in and was greeted at the front desk. One of the two main elevators was out of order. My stay was for three days so I was excited to use the hotels amenities which is why I booked my stay here, where should I start first the ceiling in the indoor pool area leaked into the pool, the hot tub didn't work, I stayed in the King suite which included a jetted tub. The balcony area hadn't been cleaned in weeks.Now I have to say I am not one of those people who enjoy leaving bad reviews but I feel like for the money I spent and the distance I traveled to stay here was not worth it.

Nothing was what we would have expected from a Radisson. The rooms were old and tired, the decor was decked old, the a/c was noisy and poorly maintained with that smell of damp. that gets on your chest. The staff save 2 were particularly uninterested in doing anything, helping or providing anything it was is if they had simply given up. The parking lot is overgrown, badly marked, badly lit and looked dilapidated. The reception area was old and tired. There are far too few staff. There was no restaurant service of any use, the pool was dirty and unusable, the fact that they charged as much as they did and people actually paid it once they got there was mostly due to the fact that once there we had no where else to do. Would I go back, not even if you paid me to go there! I use Radisson hotels a lot and I mean a lot I stay in hotels over 1/3rd of the year as a pilot and I can honestly say that if my airline had put me in this hotel I would have refused to to stay but if forced to then placed myself as unfit to operate the next day. This hotel is in dire need of hiring three times as many staff, a refurb or just simply knowing down. It is simply no longer fit for purpose.

When we got to the room, the door was ajar. We went inside and noticed that even though the door had two deadbolt locks, neither of them worked (one had a knob that turned, but no lock was inside, and the other didn’t fit in the hole for the lock). We noticed that the door didn’t open from outside unless you used a key card, so we stayed in the room anyway. Even though our checkout was at 11am, housekeeping let themselves in at 9am while we were sleeping. We told the man at the front desk about all of this, and his only response was “sorry man”.

It was a great price. However rooms were not available for check in on time. Room was dirty. Had to have recleaned. Outside pool was not open and dirty. No type of breakfast not even banana or pasty. Out side was not maintained looked like hotel was abandoned. Hair in tub . Was definitely not cleaned. Beautiful view but very disappointed that couldn't be comfortable on balcony. Also was VERY dirty. Had not been cleaned in quite so.e time. Spider webs. Dirt, chairs dirty.

The nests that your have encountered are actually Barn Swallow bird nests. They are a protected species and their nests can not be knocked down per federal law.Thank you for your review. I’m sure this property was in much better shape in its heyday. I’m sure Covid had part of it. Property looked very run down from the outside but rooms were decent. View was beautiful from our balcony. We did not eat the breakfast because they were charging $16 for a breakfast you would get for free at other hotels.

I’ve stayed at many hotels, I’ve lived in quite a few as well and this was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve had. The grounds aren’t kept up with. Over grown weeds, bushes, grass was very tall. Once we got our keys we had to lug all of our belongs down many hallways to get to our room. There wasn’t even a door outside closer to the elevator like other hotels. Our room appeared nice, the balcony was extremely disgusting with two dining room chairs that looked like they had not been cleaned in months. The bath tub mat was disgusting. Toilet handle was broken. Our keys never worked when we would come back from a day of adventures and when we’d ask for new keys one make employee was extremely nasty to us and gave us attitude. The pools looked dirty, hot tub was only big enough for two people. Also, there’s no house keeping!! And no breakfast! No food at all! We wouldn’t have paid what I did if I knew about that before booking. We definitely paid more than anything was worth. It’s far from any activity there is to do as well. I do not recommend this hotel. The only good thing was that we had a river view. That’s it. Stay away!

Excellent and friendly staff! I made a mistake on my reservation date and they were very helpful and accommodating. Much appreciated. Room was nice and clean, pool was fun, even had a lifeguard. Overall, the hotel property is in a very nice location and could use some TLC here and there.
