Grand-Baie Vacations

"Our stay at Veranda Hotel Grand Baie was unfortunately not as enjoyable as we had hoped. Our apartment was located at the very back of the property, quite a long walk from the main facilities. There was also no lift, which wasn't mentioned when we made the booking. Carrying luggage up the stairs and walking such a distance was very inconvenient, especially after travelling. "the room i had was ground floor garden view, the gardens were nice sitting on patio having a beer was relax full, the room itself was bigger than usual had a tv but channels were very limited we actually never watched it after first time. bathroom was also big bath and shower few personal items ,storage for clothes was fine just shelves little hanging space, room was clean ,now it does need a bit of tlc, shower screen needs a good cleaning house keeping can take up to 5 o'clock to clean room...

Overall cleanliness could be improved, especially in the bathroom areas. "In this price bracket it doesn’t get better than places like this. the gardens are beautiful, the pool large enough and very clean, the staff are quick to respond and very charming and the rooms are fun/ quirky! i recommend any room with a balcony. really fabulous place."
