Highly recommended.

Charming hotel with a courtyard, very comfortable room. The location is convenient, however there is no breakfast nor fresh coffee.

I wish I would have never stayed here. Read on.

We stayed three nights in October 2019. When we checked in the room was unusually hot. We asked the desk clerk, “Oliver” to manipulate the hand held air conditioning remote by personally going to our room. He agreed. We returned from dinner and effectively nothing was any cooler. Since we had a thermometer with us it was 82 degrees. We barely slept. On our second night I implored Oliver again and he said he couldn’t do anything about it. We asked for another room but the place was full so we suffered through another very unpleasant night. The third night we gave up and suffered again. We could not open the widows to get outside cooler air because people could look easily into our room. I was also not keen on the fact that wanted 2 euro daily if I wanted coffee/tea in our room. They also wanted 9 euro, up front, to park but I had already agreed to that. When we checked out the last day, I told another desk clerk very politely that our visit was most unsatisfactory. She expressed neither enthusiasm or interest so we assume this happens to everyone. I talked to my credit card issuer about getting a complete refund but who knows how that will work out. My main point is that I do not believe anyone should experience a 82 degree Fahrenheit room especially after you make three face to face efforts to reconcile it. I can’t recommend this hotel and no, I won’t stay here again.

Small cozy hotel

It’s a small and cosy hotel with Moroccan layout that provide car parking at their compound. Walking distance 10-15mins to the main area. They provide kettle, hairdryer & small toiletries but no mineral water. They also provide complimentary coffee up to 4pm. Staff is good and helpful. Room is not really quiet but we have adequate sleep.

Hotel has real character and very friendly and helpful staff. Convenient for walking into Granada centre. The area felt very safe at night. Very quiet location. Kettle in room a bonus for a Spanish hotel.

Nice small hotel, with some flaws

We had a nice stay in the Abadia hotel. Unfortunately we did not like the pillows (foam cushion). The room got cleaned day and new towels as needed. We had a room on the ground floor and it was very clairaudient. You could clearly hear your neighbors (and guests above you) shower and pee. The inner courtyard is beautiful, quite and a good place to rest, unfortunately again, they water their flowers to much and because of that it smells a bit foul. However, overall we can recommend the Abadia hotel.

As previous reviews have said please ignore the street as the hotel is better than the surrounds and you are only a couple of minutes from the Main Street through Granada. The hotel staff were excellent and very helpful and informative. We had a great time in Granada.

Very friendly and well-organized check-in. We arrived well before check-in time, but they allowed us to park our car and watched our things until we returned. They were very helpful in terms of providing us with a map and explaining the main sights. The room was simple, but very clean, comfortable and air conditioned. It is true that the front desk is not 24 hours, but there is a phone number in the room that you can call in case you need to get in touch with hotel management after hours. Would definitely go back.
