Comfy hotel for the price. Staff was polite and the location was amazing. Only critique I have is they could clear the snow in the parking lots a little more so there’s more parking spots.

For the price I was pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious, comfortable, and it has a beautiful view of the mountain from the balcony. The location is very close to Zugspitze and I had an excellent time here.

Very central and excellent staff. Room was very tired but very clean. Shower head was broken. Reasonable beds. Very basic bunk beds and curtains falling off. It was adequate for one nights stay

A great hotel right in the heart of the city among many facilities, restaurants and tourist sights. The breakfast was great and the hotel gardens in the back delightful. The rooms were beautiful and although the bathrooms were dated, they were historical and authentic, but very clean and a joy to use.

Love Quellenhof!!

We stayed at Quellenhof Hotel 3 times during the weeks we visited our son in Garmisch. Each time we stayed on a different floor - every floor has a beautiful view of the Alps! The rooms were always clean. Be careful to adjust the shower curtain just right or water will leak onto the floor. I encourage everyone to stay here! Ask for the bus pass while you stay. Grainau has great restaurants and shops! Beautiful village!

The staff are very helpful and very nice. The place is located in a very beautiful area. Breakfast is very delicious. The place is conveniently located near to the cable car around 11mins drive by car. Bus is nearby to the hotel too.

Genuinely nice and lovely hotel in traditional Alpin style. Great atmosphere, quiet, beautiful landscape. Room is cosy and stylish, and it has all necessities. A small minus is the limited parking space but all the hotels in the area has the same problem, but on the other side within short walking distance there is a big community parking with plenty of spaces. Highly recommended hotel!

Great Value

Easy check in, beds were comfortable, bathroom clean and room was well. Very close to the Zugspitze. Not a bunch of dinner options in the town, but some. Breakfast was 22 Euros, which was a bit much for a Continental breakfast. Check out was super easy.

The view around the property was beautiful. The bathroom was modern and very clean. The size of the main room was massive and it had a balcony. We did have several issues with the property. Firstly, checking in, was a headache as the staff at the desk needed an obscene amount of information from each of us staying at the hotel and misspelled each of our names, despite seeing all of our IDs. When walking into the room at first, we noticed a smell that did not make us think it was clean. Maybe schnitzel? It was raining that day, and the skylight was leaking into the small bedroom, which also had a pile of dead bugs in the corner window. We realize that everything in this town is priced high, but we would expect more from a hotel at this price.

The family room was a good set up for our family of four with two teenagers. The location is excellent for zugspitz and other excursions. There is no spa or hot tub but my understanding is that one gets access to the town health club and buses - we did not use that however. Parking is tight. They accommodated a late checkin without issue. Breakfast is available for a fee, but we did not partake.

Receptionist could be more polite and smiling. He was speaking to us like he doesnt want to work here, and was very serious. I work in hotels for years but first time have seen such a receptionist. Rooms are beautiful, train rails are near but it wasnt a problem!

The staff was lacking friendliness and was actually rude to me at time. The room was old but clean. The shower design was horrible and had puddles on the floor after using. Room had a balcony with an amazing view which was definitely a plus. The train did go by right outside the room but the earliest was 5am so not an issue for me since I was already awake. No AC which is common in area but the room was extremely hot in July.
