It was great! I had the mountain view, it is such a cozy environment! It is close to restaurantes and bakeries, just 15 minutes driving from the beatiful Lake Eibsee and just across the street you can go on a beautiful hike! The staff was very friendly. I would definitely go back.

Echt een wintersport gelegenheid. Qua interieur ga je echt weer even terug in de tijd, naar de jaren negentig. Tapijt op de vloer, gedateerde badkamer, prima bed. Veel voorzieningen in de buurt met de Grainau Card en recht onder de Zugspitze.

The property is well situated with convenient parking in a delightful little town. The rooms were nicely size and well maintained if a little sparsely outfitted. The breakfast was very nice and pretty much worth the 15 Euro fee. Our biggest gripe with the place is honestly the very inconvenient and inflexible check out time of 10 AM. We asked for a small extension and they refused. This small but important gesture downgraded our feeling for and review of the place from 4 1/2 stars to 3. Sad!

Beautiful, clean, warm room. Owners speak English and are extremely friendly and welcoming. If you're checking in late (after 6) make sure you let them know or check your email and they will leave a key for you

Friendly, welcoming and helpful family hosts. Clean, warm room and comfy beds with good shower. Plenty of parking. Great location for walks, Zugspitze cov railway, walks, rides and evening dining. Good quality breakfast frequently refreshed options with plenty of choice. Will return. Highly recommend.

This was a prime location close to shopping, and outdoor activities. There was an outdoor Ice Rink down the street, perfect for the kids to stay active. All the restaurants in the area served home cooked meals. The owners and staff made feel at home and the were the best people you could ever meet. Loved it.

Das Hotel ist schön gelegen und von außen und innen sehr schön. Mit dem richtigen Zimmer hat man einen tollen Ausblick auf die Berge. Unser Zimmer war recht groß, sauber und geräumig ( junior Suite ). Parkplätze und eine Garage für die Fahrräder waren direkt am Hotel vorhanden. Das Frühstück war gut. Zwei Kritikpunkte: - Wir hatten das Gefühl, das unser Hund nicht wirklich willkommen war. Hier hatten wir bereits deutlich bessere Erfahrunge in anderen Unterkünften ( z. B. Wilkommensbox mit kleiner Überraschung für den 4-Beiner ) Kostet nicht viel aber bringt einiges an Symphatie. Der Hund wurde mit 15€/Tage berechnet. Hierfür hätte ich mir doch eine Scheibe Käse im Wert von 30cent vom Buffet für diesen erhofft. ( Sie wissen was ich meine ) - Am Buffet fühlen wir uns beobachtet, was und wieviel wir nehmen. Gesamt würde ich folgende Bewertungen abgeben: Lage_ 5/5 Frühstück 4/5 Sauberkeit 5/5 Haustierfreundlichkeit 3/5 Inhaber / Personal 3/5 Ich bedanke mich für den Aufenthalt.

Quiet, beautiful town, nice hotel

Our stay at the Hotel Garni was enjoyable; everything about our room was very nice, except that the bed pillows were not comfortable. The people at the hotel were very friendly. We did not have breakfast there, as the 15E cost was a bit much for our budget. The town was rather quiet [early season?] Most stores, bakeries and restaurants only accepted cash; thankfully, the hotel took cards.

Easy parking infront of hotel. Staff was wonderful very helpful helping us plan our hikes and travels. Breakfast was good price was a little steep and there is a bakery cafe down the street but I'd chose their breakfast again. Rooms were perfect for us - lots of room, comfy beds, nice shower, small balcony with view. We will be back soon. Location is great with bus stops, and small shops
