"This is a very beautiful property in a remote part of Connecticut. For that reason, it is especially important that the food be excellent and varied but it is not. The coffee is sometimes mediocre but often has a charred flavor. Room service is frequently served lukewarm to cold. When you are in the middle of nowhere with the nearest coffee shop 10 minutes away the coffee should be excellent. Breakfast should be wonderful and sadly the options are extremely limited and not broadly appealing....

You can take a lovely back road walk past a beaver pond that starts from the parking lot. Employees were friendly and helpful. Multiple other protected area hikes in the neighborhood. We felt we lucked out picking this place."

"Th location was great for my visit for graduation at Salisbury school, which is about 6 miles away. I really enjoyed everything - the rooms I was in was in one of the older buildings and was a bit dated, but they seem to be well maintained (had A/C which was great!) and were clean. I like having coffee and a light breakfast available. Met my needs and the grounds are lovely- nice
