「Lovely small, older hotel. Clean and comfortable, very welcoming staff with surprisingly good restaurant. The only downside is the rather bizarre location. The hotel snd adjacent train whistle stop are about all there is to the tony hamlet of Morar. The options for getting to the larger village of Mallaig (2.75 miles away) are quite limited if you don’t have your own car. You can wait for the twice a day train, take your chances with the intermittently available single car for hire, or...

「I loved my stay at Glenuig Inn. It is in a stunning location that just soothes the soul. The staff, Fiona, Jenny, Ryan, and Stephanie, were wonderful, welcoming, and helpful. The chef, Thomas, creates excellent meals, some of the best meals on our Scottish trip. We were in a transportation bind and they all helped us out! The community vibe is extraordinarily positive. 「Fantastic」

「The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. I strongly recommend anyone who plan to visit any Hebrides islands, give the hotel a chance,.」

「We had the most wonderful stay at Coille Darach b&b! The host was exceptional and very attentive to our needs and very friendly, and had some lovely conversations with her. Breakfast was wonderful & delicious! The property is very nice and well maintained and the room had great amenities and was very comfortable and relaxing. Would definitely stay here and again and recommend to others. Very pleased with our decision to stay in this beautiful area in the Highlands! 」

「We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The room was comfortable and had everything we need for a comfortable stay. We only ate breakfast at the hotel but it was lovely. It was a very pleasant stay.」

「We had a lovely time at the Kilchoan Hotel, staying for a couple of nights whilst we explored the area. The room was spacious, clean and had comfortable beds that were very firm. The bathroom had recently been refurbished to a very high spec and the shower was excellent. The bar downstairs was welcoming, had a great selection of drinks including local whiskies. The food was great, with locally sourced produce but would love to see more seafood if it is available.」
