Check-in by phone call. Nice stay at this appartment in Gorizia. Quiet environment, clean and air conditioned rooms, almost full equipped kitchen and roof terrace.

The property itself is awesome....and the coffee was really good....loved it! The only thing misleading, on my opinion, is that we booked this property because is a bed and breakfast, and breakfast was not available. This is just part of the name of the property. And the only reason we booked here in the first place was expecting for a bed and breakfast. Other than that, ALL ready good.

Ok stay but could be better!

Location was good but check in was difficult over the phone. I was disappointed to find our bathroom was not in our room and was in fact down the hall. The beds were hard and uncomfortable, there was no mirror in the room and no plug sockets next to the bed. The kitchen was clean but there was no wine opener or chopping boards.

There is no onsite reception, just a ridiculously complicated online check-in which should remotely open the door. But I couldn't get through the garden gate even. Finally an old lady showed up who did not speak English and I don't speak Italian so we stood around for a good 25 mins before the room door miraculously unlocked. After a very late night I was woken up at 8.30 am by a cleaner who didn't speak English either but indicated I should phone the hotel operators, Everytime I tried, the phone was answered but then put down on me. Someone then phoned the cleaner and I was able to speak with the operators using that connection. They wanted a new card number which I was obliged to give even though I had no idea why the one I had used when I booked was not sufficient. It was a mess from start to finish.

broken bed!

Put up bed broken and unusable. Promised discount but not received. Fairly clean, but dirty under coffee machine and cupboard handles sticky so thorough clean needed.

A no go!

Check-in via phone - a bid complicated . The room was more than very basic. Separate bathroom on the other side of the corridor, past the entrance to the common room. The worst first: mold infestation - in the bathroom and in the bedroom. Room had no desk to work from. Only three clothes hangers in the closet, theoretically enough for two people—and no hooks for hanging clothes properly. Only one plug on one side, which has to be used either for the night light or the charger. On the other side of the bed, there's neither one nor the other. The walls in the bedroom are dirty, in addition to being moldy. Be sure to bring an adapter, as the few Italian plugs in the room are too narrow to accommodate a laptop charger.

Isolated, mismanaged, generic corporate lodging!

Avoid!!! Confusing check-in involved many, online documents and an off-site person who could not open the entrance gate remotely. Also, they did not know the difference between a key and a card needed for various applications. This modern and generic building is for short-term stays and run by a business, not a local. The small, rooftop terrace and common kitchens with vending machines were a bonus, and cleaning was thorough. The room with the detached bathroom had no air conditioning, even though that was advertised. The room is up 37 stairs on the 3rd floor, which was not advertised. The wifi never worked in the room, although I asked for 3 days for a resolution. The room is very dark inside at night, so hard to read. Terrible room! From the train station, google maps does not show you have to go up/down a hill of stairs, so it was hard with rolling and heavy luggage. Located in a residential area with no shops nearby, so it is isolated from the center by a 15 minute walk. Stay away from this mismanaged, corporate lodging!

Firstly it is not clear that a "standard"room has the bathroom outside but it is Expedia's fault. However, 24hr reception is not correct, had to wait 15 minutes on the phone and no one answered so had to call another property of the group to gain access. The external bathroom was very cold, the room adjacent to common area with very noisy vending machines so I did not sleep a wink. In the room no light switch near the bed, the bedside lamps present but there was no socket to use them with. Poorly maintained as the paint was peeling off in several areas.

Totale mancanza di manutenzione e pulizia. Muri sporchi, divano letto scomodo e cigolante ad ogni movimento, lampadine bruciate, tende sporche e appese male, soffione della doccia che fischiava, cucina appiccicosa, pareti bagno, porte sporche, lenzuola non adatte al copripiumino, mobili rovinati, pareti sporche da imbiancare, sala caffè con macchina sempre non funzionante. 2 notti per più di 400 euro è un furto.

La struttura non ha personale interno e l'accesso avviene da remoto (tramite telefono ).Ogni piano della struttura ha due miniappartamenti con uno spazio in comune, ma questa modalità non è specificata sul sito. Al mio arrivo non ho trovato una camera con tre letti (come da prenotazione ) e una scarsa propensione a rendersi conto del disagio causato. Mi hanno dato un letto apribile (pessimo) e gestito la questione tramite un manutentore gentile che era casualmente sul posto. Peccato perche la struttura è stata ristrutturata da poco , è pulita e vicina al centro .

Il soggiorno peggiore della mia vita, sia per la notte sia per come sono stato trattato dalla dirigenza. Hanno sbagliato a preparare la stanza, non aggiungendo un letto per il terzo ospite e ho dovuto dormire, come mi è stato detto al telefono sul divano, che si trovava in sala. Peccato che nel solito appartamento, a nostra insaputa, era stata affittata un'altra stanza, tanto che ce ne siamo accorti quando è entrato uno sconosciuto nel nostro appartamento. Non oso immaginare se non fossimo stati uomini ma ragazze. È già tanto non aver chiamato la polizia. Il dopo ancor peggio, la direzione ci ha regalato un minimo rimborso di 25 € per il disagio. Sarebbe stato da far chiudere loro l intera struttura

Posto a 5 minuti a piedi dal centro, in zona tranquilla , vicino a stazione e ospedale, proletari gentili e disponibili, appartamenti e camere di nuova costruzione molto carini, dotati di tutto , compreso asciugamani e lenzuola, consiglio molto anche per famiglie
