Fantastic place

The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The staff is super friendly at the reception, breakfast, and restaurant. The food is excellent! I will stay again if visiting the area.

Beautiful old villa and we loved the room we stayed in the first few nights. Awesome coffee at the breakfast restaurant. Got a little noisy and crazy when weddings were hosted.

Arrived at 16:30 as part of a wedding party and was able to go straight to the room. Disappointing that the air-conditioning was not working straight away. Reported it to Reception immediately to be told they would review it and when we returned to our Junior Suite at 04:00, it was super hot and uncomfortable that we struggled to sleep. The next morning on departure, it was the same lady checking us out that we reported the problem to. We reminded her of the problem only to be replied with “yes there is an issue and we need maintenance to have a look”. Nothing was done the night before. No note was left. Very disappointing and unacceptable that we were not even offered another room or any sort of compensation. We booked the hotel to sleep and even that was a struggle because of how hot the room was. We weren’t able to open the windows as there was a note telling us not to due to the many insects around. The wedding held at the hotel was beautiful but this service made for an upsetting experience.

Its the only hotel in the world where they don't have paper tissues as an amenity, and if you ask also then they don’t have. I enjoy the charming atmosphere. Bed in our room was small for two people.

Wrong classification and faked score

Declared 5* hotel, 9.2 score on Expedia. In fact we got 2 rooms in a an extremely dirty detached (service) cottage. Duvets without covers, towels in ropes, bugs in the room. No wifi reach, reception suggested to come to lobby and use the internet. If declared properly as a farmhouse, with limited services. It would fit the description and could be attractive, as it has nice surroundings. Staff is nice and polite. Helpful, but nothing they can do. Avoid to be mislead with the fake rating and classification.
