"This hotel was very clean but a little dated. It did appear that some upgrades were being made. The staff was very friendly! We were happy our little dog was welcome and there was a nice grassy area for her to explore. The complimentary breakfast was good and had lots of choices! The only thing that needs attention is the pool area. The pool itself had very clear/clean water and was very nice and relaxing, however the area around the pool was not clean. "Parking was plentiful, and the receptionist was polite and helpful. The lobby and breakfast room appeared modern and clean, but I can't say as much for the room. To begin with, check-in was at 3:00 pm, but I didn't arrive until 5:30 pm, and the room I was assigned still wasn't ready for a few minutes. I'm a patient and uncomplaining person, and was there only to sleep for one night, not to enjoy the 2nd floor room. "My suspicion is that this used to be a higher quality establishment, but perhaps under more recent management it has fallen off. In short, the reviews looked like the hotel was very good for the money; my experience was that the cost reflected the quality, not the reviews I read. I would say 3/5 stars."
